Description of Work: They rebuilt the manual transmission of my Honda Element and it is still running strong and smooth 19 months later. They give a better warrantee than other service stations that will do this type of work, 24K/24 months which ever comes first vs 18K/18 months I was quoted. They towed and delivered for free as long as I did the work with them.

Description of Work: They repaired the front end on my 2002 Acura. Did a great job determining what was causing the 'clunking sound', were able to get the parts and make the repairs that day. They also provided a shuttle to and from work!

Description of Work: Nothing. first of all there were the rudest most unhelpful people I have ever delt with. When I purchased the oil change at the call center no one informed me I needed a coupon and I should print it out. So when I went in for my service and I was asked for it I knew nothing about it. They refused to do my service without it. I asked them if I pulled it up on my email and showed it to them would that be okay..NO Can you speak with an angies list customer service rep...NO I asked him how he could be so rude and be an Angies list service provider...His response to me was " ANGIES LIST IS A WAISTE OF MY TIME" and I asked him then why do you advertise with them, and he rudely told me he did a year ago and for some d*** reason they keep putting his deals out there!! because of some crazy rule they have. He refused to do my work and refused to refund my money told me I had to get it from angies list and told me to get out of his store. This I might add was the owner of the business as he explained how many years he has been in business and all the customers he has..my business meant nothing to him...!

 + -1 moreSuper impressed!!! I was referred to Uncle Dave's by the Honda Dealership when the Xenon headlamp on my 2008 Acura went out and they couldn't fix it. Dave took me right in and fixed the problem for a couple of hundred less then he quoted me. The people are friendly and very helpful all around. I highly recommend them for all things Honda/Acura.

They had me in on time, the mechanic showed me (had me under the vehicle that was on the hoist) all areas of concern and did a great job explaining the concerns. Description of Work: I wasn't happy with the estimates given for additional work resulting from the vehicle inspection. I was able to get the work done satisfactorily elsewhere for much, much less. They have a good reputation and I guess that's why they can charge $110/hr but it's just too much.

 + 1 moreI couldn't have been more pleased. Service was professional and prompt. I expected attempts to sell me additional services with explanations as to why these services were much needed. I was wrong! They informed me that my brakes would need to be replaced in approximately 6 months and what signs or sounds might alert me to the need to tend to them. I know where I will take my car when I do have the brakes replaced....straight to Uncle Dave's!
Description of Work: Oil change, tire rotation and 27-point inspection. Also replaced blown fuse.

Description of Work: They towed my car to one of their shops & checked to see what was wrong with it. The price to fix it was more than we paid for the car so they recommended scrapping it. I appreciated their honesty. Also, the towing service was very helpful. They responded & picked it up in abt. 30 minutes.
