My fur babies was dropped off at 8:30 and I was told they would call me when the grooming was completed. Since they closed at 6;00 pm I headed there to pick up my babies...I waited 45 minutes outside the door due to COVID19 restrictions of only two people in the building. Once I got in at 645 my babies were not ready...they over-charged me, 54.00 for the 2.5 lbs shape up and bath... my older pom that weighs 4lbs don't appear to have been bathed, just sprayed with something that smelled good and brushed??? The lobby smelled horrible and appeared to be unmanaged.... staff was not knowledgeable of prices and seemed to be very confused. I will not be returning, as they are taking in two many dogs and not giving the quality of service to match the prices they are charging. Very disappointed.

They get the best. They are awesome with my pets. They are just really really great. They treat you like they are taking care of their own pets. I would use them again in the future.

Friendly staff. Did a great job with my 10 month old rambunctious lab. Topped off with his service with a cute bandana. Will use again for his monthly doggy spa time.

I had been satisfied with my dog's grooming. The only concern I have is the number of dogs they take in everyday to groom. Your dog usually stays there all day. That was okay with me since I would drop off before work and pick up after.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Pet Styles in Bartlett, TN!! My family has used them for about 10 years and I have 3 dogs of my own and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. One of my dogs, Natalie, is kind of handicap- she has congestive heart failure and is about 10 years old, and they always treat her so well. They know us by name when we come in the salon and all the dogs are always so happy coming in and leaving at every visit! I also bring 2 of my dogs in every 2 weeks for a Deluxe Bath at a discounted price. I just cannot stress on how wonderful they are! Pat, the owner, is such a sweet and caring lady. She is has over 15 years of experience and is the best in the city!! You can tell they truly LOVE animals! They are a pretty busy grooming salon, and I can see why! With such great customer service and wonderful grooming skills, I highly recommend them to anyone!

I took my small, long haired, mixed breed dog to this shop several years ago for the first grooming he ever had. We had usually washed and groomed him ourselves. There was a gentleman who came out and checked us in as first timers and talked with us about the cut we wanted. He was very nice and my dog got a great, really cute cut and a bath. We continued to self groom after that though due to cost. Recently when we became able to afford grooming again, I took my dog back. The first time he was groomed nicely and I felt it was worth it, although not near as nice as before. I figured that the groomer may have been different. I was just satisfied, but not jumping up and down. The next, and last time, I took my dog it was a total waste of time and money. I'm not sure my dog was washed and he was not clipped anywhere except his face. His nails were bleeding in one spot. And the worst was, they had sprayed him with some sort of cotton candy smelling doggie perfume! I did not take the time to speak to the manager because I had already waited about 20 minutes to get my dog. There were only a couple of other people in the building. I have since found a new groomer that we have used once and they did a great job. Will give it another try soon and hope to be settled there!

Excellent as always. At Petstyles they have a FANTASTIC understanding of our pet's needs and the hair cut we want. They love the pets brought to them and comfort them so they have a good visit. We have been a customer of PetStyles since they opened and have NEVER had any issues with them. The service is consistently Excellent.
Customers should book a few days ahead as they are always in demand due to the great service they provide. I recommend PetStyles to every one!!

I told them my dog had congestive heart problem and they have to watch closer. They are very good and didn't see any problems. They did the work I wanted them to do, like I asked them to take her for a walk which they did. I asked them to shape and they did it. I will continue to use them in the future.

The story from start to finish...

1. Walked in, brought my dog in who has thick fur and very slightly overweight for his size. I get compliments on my dog's appearance nearly every time I take him for a walk (3 times a day). He is a very happy and healthy dog! However, the first comment from the person working behind the counter is a witty comment about how he's fat or dumpy. I took it lightly at first, but throughout our introduction to the dog she kept making little not-so-funny remarks about his weight. It was kind of like, ok, I get it, you think he's fat... not funny.

2. After a family member had spoken with a Pet Styles staff member about my dog, they told us that due to his breed that they would not recommend shaving his thick fur down to the undercoat, as it would grow back unevenly and was not necessary. However, the two people working behind the counter gave a thorough account of why we needed to shave him down. One staff member said that he was badly matted and that if they tried to go through the fur and brush it out, it would be and quot;tortureand quot; for the dog and that he would likely suffer from skin infections, etc. In a 10 minute conversation about it, they almost had an accusative tone as if my dog had been neglected. The conversation kind of tired and grumpy rather than reassuring and motivated. One worker there in particular was borderline rude in talking about my dog... the same worker who incorrectly tried to tell me what breed my dog is.

So, basically they were not-so-pleasantly trying to say that the only thing they would do for him was shave him down to his undercoat, which I would have been absolutely fine with if it was medically necessary. I love my dog more than anything and give him a great life in which he is never neglected and certainly has never been the matted creature they made him out to be. He is a beautiful dog, but has thick fur that needs to be groomed. Furthermore, by no means was this the first groomer I have taken him to... I take him monthly to get him trimmed.

3. I was at a point where I felt compelled to get him shaved, because they had me concerned for his health, but at that point was given the option to speak with their owner/ manager about him. The manager did have a slightly more reassuring tone, and completely countered what the other two had told me, saying that for an extra $10 (ridiculous), they could brush my dog's fur out with a and quot; 64 dollar conditioner (why would you tell me how much it costs them?),and quot; and trim him. So I reluctantly signed up for that. Because I heard good things about the place, I went through with it. I left the building with the impression that the first 2 employees were trying to sell me on shaving my dog down so they didn't get stuck with the work of brushing out his undercoat.

4. I returned in the afternoon to pick my dog up from the grooming, and again was greeted at the counter by the same employee from earlier. She asked my name and then said and quot;oh yeah I know your dog, I groomed him. He's been acting funny since I gave him a bowl of water earlier.and quot; They then brought him out, and though they did a decent job with the $50 trim, he was panting heavily and wheezing desperately as if he hadn't had a drink in the 6 and a half hours he was there. He was making dry, raspy noises with his throat that I have never heard him make, and I quickly took him out and got him some cold water to drink. He was completely exhausted and quickly slurped the water down for 10 minutes, as if dying of thirst. I was infuriated and called back to and quot;Pet Stylesand quot; and spoke with the groomer again. I asked how long he had been like this, he seemed like he must have been wheezing for hours! She said and quot;I don't know we gave him a bowl of water in his cage after the grooming, and quot; and proceeded to try to tell me how dogs sometimes don't drink water when they're without their owners for awhile in a strange place, and that they get anxiety, etc. and more garbage that seemed to try to dodge my questions. I want to know who watches over the 20+ dogs I saw go in and out of there while the others are being groomed? Are the pets put in cages with a bowl of water in a hot back room with no ventilation? What was the problem? This place seriously was churning out the pets when I arrived to pick up my dog. I saw about 10-15 small similar dogs leave the place all with the SAME haircut...do they have the staff and time for quality care for the number of pets they take in?

Again I have been to numerous groomers and never has my dog acted like this. In fact, my dog has never shown signs of dehydration, heat exhaustion, separation anxiety, or anything that might have been the cause of distress after leaving the groomer. He is a sweet, well behaved, well adjusted little dog who deserves the same attention any other pet does that comes in through their front door.

Thanks for sticking with me there...I would never recommend Pet Styles to anyone who cares about the well being of their pet!

It was an excellent experience as always. The owner is excellent at her work and her love for her work shines through. This is the only place I would take my pets to be groomed. THey are very nice, friendly, and accommodating. I've been a customer of their's since it opened and will continue to be a loyal customer as long as their doors are open. I give it my highest recommendation.
