Found a very beautiful new design storm/security door in the showroom. Even better than my original choice of doors. They came out to measure quickly and set a tentative date for installation. Installers were very professional and friendly and did a great job in every respect. I totally love my new door and I'm so happy with the result. My house looks awesome - and very secure

Doors are great, the installation went smoothly and efficiently, the price was reasonable (sales person informed me on the front end of a sale price on two of the doors). I'm very happy with the doors and with the work.

They were good. The price was good and my door does do well. I still do not have my door key to the locks in my house. The door they put on came with a factory key and lock and they were going to key it to my door and lock so I wouldn't have a separate key. I have called numerous times, but I have yet to do that. It isn't a big deal, but it is my biggest complaint. The quality and their timeliness were great when they brought and installed the door. They have made a couple appoints to do the work, but didn't come. They have been very nice. I would use them again to install another security door.

They were fine. I was satisfied with the outcome of their service. Their price was reasonable.

They were delivered when promised and the installers were very professional and did a great job. Took about 3 hours. The doors are very sturdy and look great. I'm glad I upgraded to the better handles, they feel very substantial. Thanks American Door!

The estimator came on Feb 1. The door was ordered. Installation was done on Feb 22.

They came in and the work was complete. I was very happy with them. The quote was little high for the work on the fence. The work was good. They replaced and repaired some of the planks on the fence and application of weatherproofing. The repair was done well. My only concern was the weatherproofing was done on only one side of the fence. The work done was good, it really was. Everyone was very nice. The American security door was installed well and efficiently. Everything seems to be holding up just fine. Based on the quality of doors that I got and I know it is my choice and what I chose, I would grade them an and ldquo;Aand rdquo; for price. If I needed service, like that, I would use them in the future and I would recommend them. I definitely have compliments for American Door this year.

People from American Door Company came out and did measurements to make sure that the door we got would actually fit the door frame. We had given them the measurements; however they wanted to double check it themselves. It was a storm door with decorative corners and a single sheet of safety glass. The door they got for installation was cut perfectly to fit our door frame. They did a beautiful job. We have never had any problems with it. I will use them in the future. I’m actually planning to have another storm door put in the back as well.

We needed to replace a cracked wooden exterior door for our home with a basic security door. We needed to be sure the new door would not crack or warp because we have a glass storm door in place which is notorious for trapping heat and causing issues with some door materials. I found American Door on Angie's List and called to discuss our needs. The owner scheduled a time to come out to measure the door and provide a free estimate. He was in our neighborhood early before I got home from work, so he went ahead and measured and estimated and called me with the results. We ordered a steel security door. It came in as expected, about two weeks after the order. The installer called to schedule an appointment around our work schedules. He showed up on time and completed the work in about two hours. The installer was meticulous in his work. He had to remove the door frame and replace it then install the new door. In addition, he replaced the door knob, remounted our security sensor, and rehung the storm door. The storm door now opens and closes so smoothly without any noise and was an unexpected benefit of this work. I would absolutely use them again for any door needs.

They did everything that they agreed to do. They did a good job and I was very happy with them. I called them and told them what I wanted. They gave me information about it. I wanted a better lock that the standard one. They wanted money for the better lock and they didn’t try to push it on me. They were informative.

It was a custom order and the job was done relatively fast. The usual color is black. When you want a different color, then it has to come from the factory because they don’t use spray paint and they use powder coating. It was a cast iron door. We ordered the door and it came in about a week and a half later. They came out and installed the door on that Saturday. We had paid for it upfront and so there was no hassle about it costing us extra. They came in, installed it, adjusted the closer and then gave us the keys. I would use their services in the future too.

It was very smooth and professional. I paid 1/2 when the order was placed and the remaining amount when the work was completed to my satisfaction. It has cut the heat and cooling loss through that area enormously. Plus it "frames" my front door in a very tasteful way. It looks very pretty from the street and gives you that extra bit of security when someone comes to the door. They were polite and prompt in their work. In fact I am talking with them now about doing some more iron work for me.
