Carpet Installation, Countertop and Backsplash Service
I paid them $99 and a man came out. He put a level on my counter and told me I needed to shim the cabinets for installation. I asked Lowes for my $99 back since he did not do anything and they said no. As far as the carpet went, they said I had to remove and dispose of the carpet on my own before they would install it. I would ever hire through them again and I would not recommend them.

My husband and I picked out a vinyl floor to be installed in our kitchen.
The company hired by Lowe's installed the floor. After a short time, a bubble came up in the floor.
I called the store, and they sent out a manager to look at it. She told me the bubble appeared because
of my sliding my chair. Don't we slide our chairs in our kitchens? How ridiculous.
But she stood firm in that they would not do anything to fix it.
I called another manager at the store. They all decided that I should get another floor, a laminate.
I said I did not want a laminate. I wanted the floor I bought. We took a long time to choose this floor to
go in our kitchen.
I wrote to the corporate office about this situation. By the way, we went to the store just to see what the
laminate looked like and a salesperson said that laminate would not work in a kitchen, because if you
spill something on it, it will ruin it.
The manager, Regina, called me several times with offers, but never to redo the floor that had a big
bubble in it. Even the siding under the sink came off and showed the installers failed to use much glue.
I don't think they used the right glue, as I called the floor company and asked about this floor. You were
supposed to use a special glue, which Lowe's did not.
After much aggravation and time passing. I had a big bubble in my floor during the Christmas holidays, when
I really wanted a new floor to "show off". Finally the corporate office told them to take up the bubbled floor
and do it over. A different company installed it this time. It is beautiful now. I will NEVER buy anything big from Lowe"s in Athens again. All this took SIX MONTHS to get Lowe's to redo the floor. Their manager, Regina, needs to take a course on how
to treat customers. She was very rude.

They took out the old washer and installed the new one. They made sure that it worked fine. They did the job right and it was a good experience. They were very good. One time I got mad at them because it was the technician?s fault and not their fault.
