About us
We are a family owned moving company that serves east tennessee predominatly, Based in Athens TN , Creed & Howard Transfer has been in business since 1942 proudly serving the moving needs of our town and surrounding community's. Moving furniture is hard work , but , we are proud to be able to excell at this demanding way of earning a living. Please understand at least one of the owners of the company is ALWAYS present and will personally handle your furniture. Sam was born into the business in 1963 started helping dad n grandad in 1968 served in a part time means until 1982 been a full time mover since. Chris joined C&H around 2000 2001 while going to TWC. Upon graduation went full time, became a part owner 4 or 5 years later. We both enjoy the physical part of the work and the trials of being a small business owner are plenty of a challenge for me. Presently our rates are $100 per hour for 2 men and a truck ,$125 for 3 men and a truck, $150 for 4 men and a truck
