A/C went out and I diagnosed it was the capacitor, a part you can get from Walmart.com for $17. Called Steve Ray at 5:45 pm on a Tuesday and I was thankful he said he could come out and replace it. 20 mins later he was here and working on it. Then he said it would be $275 to fix it. I already had the cover off the a/c unit, turned off the power to the unit, and removed the old capacitor. All he did was hook up the 4 wires and put the cover back on! $275 for what?!? I would have been more than happy to pay $100, but this was ridiculous. I'm sure this guy knows what he's doing, but it seems he's trying to buy a place in the Bahamas with his rates. CAll SOMEONE ELSE OR BE PREPARED TO SELL A KIDNEY!

They are very professional and prompt. I have been a customer with them for about 2-3 years now and I usually request them because they are available through my home warranty. The cleanup was good.

My gas fireplace would not come on. I consulted Angieslist and decided on Steve Ray's Services. The technician arrived within the four hour window. He was courteous & friendly. My husband and I had never tried the fireplace before, this is our second winter here. The home also has central heat which is what we used last winter. The technician was very knowledgeable about gas fireplaces. He tried some things and asked some questions. It turned out that there is an unusual way to light the fireplace due to some attempted transition by a previous owner that was not completed. He showed me how to light the fireplace. It is perfectly safe and he resolved the issue that I had in less than 30 minutes. I would recommend this comapny and technician (Jerimiah) to anyone needing help with their fireplace.

We have a home warranty, so we only have to pay the deductible for the home warranty and they cover the rest of the cost. The deductible is $50. But that is just for regular work, I guess we do have to pay them for the maintenance service. We trust them to do the work; they have been out here several times. They do a good job. Our overall experience with them is great.

They made several visits to make sure they had the solution.  Even the owner came himself to assure that everything was done correctly.  Talk about customer service+++++++++++++

My central air conditioner unit is about 16 years old now and with all this extremely hot weather just seemed to be working harder and harder but still wasn't cooling quite right. Finally it reached a point that in was running continuously with little cooling. I called SRS and they responded Immediately. Within a couple of hours, Stacy had run some tests and had opened the unit in the attic. He showed me the coils were iced up and after the ice was removed he showed me where the coils had deteriorated and was leaking. It took a day to get the part needed and early the next morning they had the part installed and the unit running again. Additionally they checked the condensate drian lines and cleared them out and put in a drain pan that had never been installed properly. This is a very professionally run organization. Theywere quick and very clean and neat. I couldn't be happier. I feel that for all they did the price was more than fair. I can recommend them without hesitation.

They did a great job.  Scott and Stacy showed up in their van wearing uniform shirts and were very professional.  They explained what they would do in the attic to service the A/C and answered all my questions regarding cooling, filters, etc.  They also cleaned and serviced the outside units.  They spent an entire afternoon and were careful in their work and left everything in order.  They were very hard working and I will use them again for the fall heating service.  They left a detailed invoice of the work they did so that I would have it for my warranty file.  I appreciate their hard work in this heat!

They came out the very next day after I called them. They were very efficient and did a good job.
