Despite the challenges encountered with our old gas logs, Cecil saw the job through to completion, coming by the house daily until the job was complete and we were happy. Cecil is now on my short list of trustworthy, qualified plumbers, and he will be the first plumber I call going forward. I should also note that I had Cecil look at other plumbing work while he was here, and he was very honest about what was needed and what wasn't. He could have made more money doing other projects for me, but instead gave me free advice on other short-term solutions.

ONEAL Total Services: A real estate agent provided me with this fellow's name to repair a switch to the gas fireplace logs. I spoke with him about repairing the fireplace switch for an upcoming closing on the vacant home. I left him the agent's list (in the mailbox with the lockbox code to get in the house) of needed repairs for an estimate. The next time I spoke with him he had already repaired the fireplace. I requested an estimate again, which I never received. Instead he skirted my request and started working the list.
In my opinion his hourly fee is excessive as well as the amount of hours attached to each job was excessive amount of time.
He did have to return and work on the ridge cap again once the buyers did their inspection. His work was very good and timely, just way too expensive and rude of him not to provide me with an estimate as I had requested.
I learned not to give anyone unlimited access before they provide the estimate, if they fail to provide a written estimate or try to skirt the estimate, call someone else.
This was a stressful time for us since my husband had triple bypass heart surgery in mid January and was not able to help me.
I would not recommend him.

I got his name from my daughter in law who had used him to service her unit. He was very polite and prompt. He serviced my unit, gave me some good tips and sent a follow up Thank You Note. Overall my experience was very pleasant. I would definetly call Cecil again. He is also a Certified Agent for the National Fireplace Institute. As he said a "jack of all trades".
