I paid $1100 for 6000lbs of stone and a pallet of sod to be delivered. Product quality was better than average. Of the $1100, $175 was a delivery fee. More than once, I asked if the material would be placed where I needed it and I was told they were very strict on deliveries and if there was even a change the forklift would get stuck, they would only leave the product on the drive way. I watched the weather and picked a time that I knew their would be no question. They get here and driver refused to get off the pavement. That's right! Dropped 6000lbs of rock 100yards from where I need it. If it would have rained in the last three days I would have said, yes it's too wet, put it on the driveway. But, driver didn't even evaluate the situation, so I called the company, who said this was there new policy. I explained what I was told just three weeks ago and the lady said, Sorry, do you want the product or not, but you'll still be billed the $175 delivery fee. Stay away from these people, I was lied to. And, if they'll lie to me, they'll lie to you!.

The driver backed the truck up, dumped, tore the corner off of our roof with the dump truck, and said we had signed for the delivery, so he wasn't responsible. When I talked to the owner (Tim Brown) about it the next day, he said the same thing. He told me if I took it to court they'd never lost a case like this. I told him when I said I guess all I could do was spread the word of how I had been treated, he hung up on me.

"NATURE'S EARTH PRODUCTS (NEP) SELLS AND DELIVERS LANDSCAPE MATERIALS. A BUYER HAS THE OPTION OF PICKING UP THE MATERIAL OR HAVING THE MATERIAL DELIVERED TO THEIR RESIDENCE. NEP'S DELIVERY IS CURBSIDE SERVICE AS ALL OTHER COMPANIES IN MEMPHIS THAT DO HOME DELIVERIES. WHEN NEP IS REQUESTED TO GET ON RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY IT IS ONLY FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF THE HOMEOWNER. AN NEP DRIVER WILL NOT GET ON A RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY UNLESS THE HOMEOWNER SIGNS THE INVOICE THAT STATES NEP IS NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGES INCURRED ON CUSTOMER'S PROPERTY. THE MEMBER ASKED THE DRIVER TO GET ON HER PROPERTY AND SIGNED THE INVOICE AGREEING NEP WOULD NOT BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES INCURRED ON HER PROPERTY. WHEN ATTEMPTING TO MAKE THE DUMP NEP'S DRIVER INFORMED THE MEMBER THAT HE DIDN'T THINK HE COULD GO BACK ANY FURTHER WITHOUT PERHAPS RUNNING INTO SOMETHING. THE MEMBER LISTENED TO THE DRIVER'S WARNING, INSISTED THAT THE PRODUCT GET DUMPED WHERE SHE WANTED IT AND THEN WENT INSIDE. THIS ACCIDENT COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THE PRODUCT HAD BEEN DELIVERED CURBSIDE. I DID END THE CONVERSATION BY HANGING UP THE TELEPHONE, AS I DID NOT FEEL OBLIGATED TO LISTEN TO HIS THREATS. THE MEMBER'S INVOICE WAS $119.09; THIS INCLUDES PRODUCT, DELIVERY FEE AND TAXES. HOW CAN NEP BE LIABLE TO COVER DAMAGES INCURRED FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF THE CUSTOMER? ALTHOUGH THIS WAS AN UNFORTUNATE ACCIDENT, THE MEMBER TOOK ON THE LIABILITY WHEN SHE REQUESTED THE DRIVER TO GET ON HER PROPERTY AND SIGNED THE INVOICE."

They handled our business with great professionalism. I agreed to 8 yards, but I wanted them to call before coming out so that I could be here, which they did, and they showed up on time. I wanted them to knock before dumping, so I could show them where and they also did that. They didn't tear up the lawn either and did a great job.
