MID SOUTH SEPTIC SERVICE

Critical: Punctuality, Quality Septic Tank Pumping cost me $309.00 for a half *** job at best or worse. Would never recommend this company again!! I was kind enough to dig both access holes for service call. Truck operators in past have cleaned both side thoroughly, then washed down sides. This driver left large amount in tank, said he cant get grease. Made no effort to open second hole at all. Did not wash down Tank. COST ME HIGHER DOLLARS. In general a half *** job at best.

They discovered that the cap was knocked off, so they replaced. They did a real good job. I was very pleased.

We just purchased our home with our First septic tank. We called Mid South at 845 am on Friday, by 10 am they where here, pans By 1030 it was all done. Since this was our first tank, we had questions, and they answered all of them

These guys were Johnny on the Spot. I had already just about killed myself trying to do something about my problem and for nothing. I gave up and called Mid-South Septic. My wife had to deal with the first visit but I was able to talk to them on the phone from work and had everything explained to me. I decided to take off work and be there for the field lines. You can imagine what it's like to dig 3 trenches totaling 200 feet and lay the half-moon plastic snap together pipe. But, when it was all over, my yard was back to semi-normal, just without any grass. I dealt with that later. Afterwards, I had them modify the top of my tank with a riser to accommodate future pump outs easier. All this took some time and a few visits but, we were flushing in no time. Everyone was polite, courteous, and helpful when I asked questions. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. I just hope I don't have to.....

I had a bad experience with them. Unfortunately, I got well into the job before I realized how bad it was. The thing is that it took them so long to respond and finish the job. I started using them and the job started in November of 2012 but in July of 2013, I was still nagging them to please come and finished what they had started. So it was one of those things where 7 months after they started it, they still haven't finished what they needed to do and they didn't finish it satisfactory. They told me, when they did the job, that they would put a riser on the septic tank but then it would have to settle into the ground a bit and by settling to the ground at that time they told me that meant several months so they should have finished it in December or January but it rained and it was cold and I was trying to be nice. So I called them and reminded them several times and said if they can't do it because it's so wet, I understand but I want it done and they never responded and by March when the rain was stopping, literally by April, I was calling them every single week and then came to find out that they had changed owners so since the old owner was gone, they felt the new owner didn't have any responsibility to finish the job after all it wasn't his job and I said somebody took my money and never finished the job. Finally, one of the gentlemen who worked for the old owner and now works for the new owner came out to my house and talk to me. He did get somebody to come and cut the riser down but they left my yard in such a mess that even now, a year later, I cannot go out there and walk around that area because I'm an older person. He said to me, they cannot fix my yard and I said yes but if they have a little bulldozer machine in here and it wrecked it, then you can bring the same machine in and smooth it out and so they said they will do that and that's the last time I saw them. I wouldn't use them again. They did come out one night and really worked for several hours at night but basically, they were pretty much correcting a problem that they had caused. So that was something they should have done. I gave them the money upfront and they told me that they did that job before and they said they will come back and fix the rest of it and they didn't until I was threatening them. When you first call them, they were responsive but this job shouldn't have dried on 7 months. Hopefully the new company have settled in and treating their customers well because I think they probably had a good reputation or I wouldn't have called them again.

Called on a Wednesday afternoon and they showed up bright and early the next morning. They pumped the septic tank and were very courteous and knew what they were doing. I was impressed with the service and will definitely use them again for any septic tank work/pumping in the future.

Everyone we dealt with at Mid-South Septic was professional and courteous. They did excellent work, gave us the best quote we could find and I will definitely use them for any future issues we have with our septic system.

My tanks were overue for cleaning out, especially with all the rain we have had lately keeping them full. I originally called about 1 tank, but after they started pumping it out, I remembered to have them check the 2nd tank, which only has an apartment with 1 bath going to it. It was also close to being full, so they went ahead and pumped it out as well. Both tanks are about 1000 gallons each but their truck was able to handle it. I was impressed with the driving Tony did. He backed the truck up a driveway that is fairly steep to start out with, then curves and goes through a gate and then curves again. I admit to being a little nervous about the gate posts and a couple of trees while he was doing that, but he said it was easy with a good spotter, which he had in Matt. Both men were nice and quickly got the job done. Tony even offered advice (and a sample) on the enzyme product that could be beneficial for our field lines, since they are almost 30 years old. I would highly reccommend them and will definately be calling them again in a few years.The price was higher than it was the last time I had this done (by someone else), but it was a resonable increase considering the passage of time and the price of gas. They did do the 2nd tank for a discounted price even though it was not on the schedule and I would have understood if they told me they could not do it at that time. I appreciated that very much.I also appreciated how soon they were able to get to me considering the weather and other factors. They fit my schedule nicely. Again, I would highly reccomend them.

For the second time--once every five years--these guys have been there to get the job done and done right. From call-to-action was less than 3 hours. The price quoted was the price charged (same price for the same service five years apart!). Personnel professional, courteous and answered questions; gave me some suggestions on how to slow-down the need to have the system pumped. Given the potentially "smelly" nature of the work, these guys' performance was "coming up roses" and I'll call them again when the need arises.

We had a few problems, like the final grading. Whenever they were out here, their tractor or whatever they were using broke and they covered up what they could, but it was kind of a mess. We had to get some more dirt a couple months ago. We had problems in the winter when it got so wet out there. After they had come out and done it, they had to come back out because we had one area that stayed real wet. It had something to do with the connection of the pipes. They fixed that after I had called them and told them about it.
