It went very well. Mr. Trenary is easy to reach by phone.
Description of Work: I took two clocks to Mr. Trenary: An old Regulator from the early 1900s which kept time in my father's printshop, and an Eli Terry replica made by my father in the mid-1980s. These clocks are very dear to me, and they both needed to be cleaned and oiled. Mr. Trenary did an excellent job. Very few specialize in this field. I feel fortunate to have found him, and I would definitely recommend him. He works in the basement of his home.

It went without problem. I would recommend Mr. Trenary to others with clock and watch problems.
Description of Work: Mr. Trenary runs his repair shop from the basement of his home. The shop is a fascinating place, full of clocks and watches. It is clear that Mr. Trenary is a master from the old school. I had an old Ansonia clock that I picked up when I lived in Singapore 25 years ago. It stopped running about 10 years ago, but it looked cool so it stayed hanging on the wall. We just moved to Nashville, so decided it was time to get the clock running again. Mr. Trenary did the necessary, which he said was to thoroughly clean the mechanism and oil it. I left the clock with him, he called me about a week later, and said that it was ready for pick-up. The estimate given at the time I dropped the clock off was what he charged me. He did a good job, and he now has my Grandfather's pocket watch to get running again.
