Flavio, Andre and their crew are amazing. They are professional and hard-working. They show up when they say they will, stay on the job until completely finished, communicate with you every step of the way, and clean up completely when the job is finished. They don't leave until you are completely satisfied. We had them install new hardwood in most of our house 3 or so years ago, and their work was excellent. So when we decided to put hardwood in our master bedroom and closet, we knew who to call. When they pulled up the carpet, they discovered that the floor joists that had been added years ago when we did an addition were not the same height as the original joists, a problem that had been hidden by carpet. In order to make it right, they had to shave the new joists down to the same level as the old. They did, and when they finished, the new floor is perfect. I believe they can deal with just about any situation that comes along. They are the best.

Wonderful experience. Flavio and Andre were amazing to work with. We had 25 year old oak hardwood floors which needed refinishing for the entire downstairs, stairs and upstairs landing. Flavio was so patient with us in deciding on color and finishes. The crew was so nice and showed up exactly on time. We were a bit stressed about the project but they made it so easy. Would highly recommend and hope to use them for some other remodel soon! Our floors look great!

Flavio and his FGL team are TOTAL PROFESSIONALS! We could not have asked for better customer communication, service, updates, and hardwood flooring expertise. He guided us play by play thru the entire process from demo to sand/finish. They Installed 2000+ sq/ft of 4in solid white oak in our home with exquisite attention to detail. The floors are spectacular, and his pricing is extremely competitive also. If we have any further hardwood floor needs in our home he is THE ONLY guy we are calling. Truly a gold-standard experience end to end.

From beginning to end, we had such a great experience working with Flavio at FGL Flooring! Flavio is not only knowledgeable, personable, and incredibly skilled at his craft, he is also an excellent communicator. He was always available to answer questions and kept us in the loop on timing and project progress as needed. We had carpet removed, new subfloor and hardwood installed and stain/sanded. The floors are beautiful and he matched the existing hardwoods perfectly. I'd honestly look no further if you're in the market for flooring! Lastly, my father-in-law is a contractor in KY and he helped us review Flavio's quote and felt confident it was fair. So you can be sure you're getting a fair price for excellent service. Grateful we found FGL!

We have a large upstairs room that we use as an office/studio, and wanted nice whitewashed hardwood. After meeting with a few flooring people, we decided to go with Flavio. His quote was pretty reasonable and the work we saw on his instagram was really well done. Soon after we decided, he quickly had the wood delivered and set up a date for installation. Four guys showed up and got to work, ripped up the carpet, prepped the subfloor, laid the floor, sanded, and whitewashed the wood all on the first day. They came early for two more days just to put down coats of poly. The process was super fast, which is appreciated. At one point we called Flavio with a question regarding the direction the installers wanted to lay the floor, he picked up right away and explained the reasoning to us. He also stayed in touch to make sure everything was going good. We are really happy with the flooring they did and will use FGL for future projects.

Flavio and Andre listened to what I wanted and gave great suggestions to help me get there. We installed red oak and did a light colored finish. They were patient with me trying to decide the right color. Red oak is difficult to get the pinkish tones out when you are going with a lighter finish. They achieve the look I was going for. An interior designer I had put a week after completion couldn’t believe it was red oak. She wanted to know the color mix they used. They did a wonderful job start to finish and were great with communication.

FGL Flooring did an excellent job for us. We had a terrible experience with another hardwood flooring sand/finish company. Flavio, Andre and their crew at FGL Flooring took one look at our floor and knew immediately the mistakes the other company made. FGL made our floors look great. These guys don’t subcontract their work and don’t cut corners. One of the owners was on-site the whole time. These guys are professionals who take pride in their work.

I contracted with Flavio Lima (FGL Flooring- Nashville TN) for a home renovation project that included the installation of a new staircase, banisters ( hand railings, balusters, and wrought iron posts) and the laying of hardwood flooring in an 2nd floor hallway. First, Flavio's Team was exceptional and performed the work in the most professional manner. Their workmanship was impeccable and their diligence to finish the project in the prescribed period of time was evident. It was obvious to me from day 1 that this crew knew exactly what they were doing and their craftsmanship was top-notch. Flavio, himself was on site to ensure that the work was in line with my specifications and that I was involved with decisions as the work progressed. The finished product is amazing and has transformed that staircase into the focal point of the home as you enter. Moreover, Flavio was quite competitive on his pricing. I definitely received the value that I was looking for. I highly recommend FGL Flooring (Flavio Lima - owner) and would definitely hire again with flooring projects that I may have in the future.

Overall excellent performance. Once the project was underway a few hidden surprises presented themselves. The team was able to quickly make the necessary repairs and completed the project on time. Flavio and his crew did a great job. Very professional. They installed wood in the bonus room, hallway and 4 bedrooms. They replaced carpet steps with wood steps split level. They where always on time and the communication with Flavio during the project was excellent. Very detailed and knowledgeable. My hardwood floors have had carpet on them since i moved in in 2004. The floors are now beautiful hardwood floors. The were refinished. Awesome job! Quick, efficient, polite crew. Actually saved us some money by recommendation on where to purchase flooring and exactly what type flooring to purchase. It looks so much better than the sample that we had picked out to purchase from elsewhere. Even though it took us awhile to decide from the first time they came out to measure---they quickly worked us into their tight schedule. Impressive! This is the second time we have used Angie's List, but it will not be our last.

After our bumpy start with the estimate, everything went according to plan. Flavio and his team were great. Communication was excellent all throughout the project. The guys wasted no time in getting started and finished the job in 3 days. The stairs in my home were basically rebuilt and installed a hand rail that was stained to match my floors. I’m very happy with the service I received and love my new floors. Flavio even recommend a colleague who could take care of replacing the vinyl in my bathrooms!
