They replaced gas hot water tank. Were very informative, considerate and professional. Would recommend to anyone. We just moved to this area but were advised to call them and so glad we did. Very satisfied and also affordable. Service guys were great to talk to while working. Cleaned up and left spotless. Joseph and Kaden were the service guys.

They were assigned to us by our home warranty company, to check on a leaky hot water heater. They were very prompt - we reported the problem over a holiday weekend, heard from them the first business day after, they came by that evening and checked it out. Turns out the water heater is a write-off, so they didn't actually do any plumbing for us, but I'm happy with how things turned out.

The two young men who performed the work were conscientious, prompt, informative, careful and professional.  And they were nice guys.  All went well.  Rather than cut a trench through my concrete driveway, they agreed to have a go at punching a hole beneath the driveway to save us the job of reconcreting the trench and the visible scar that would leave.  It was a difficult task, but they were successful.  We really appreciated not having to cut the trench. They were also willing to strategize with me about the best place to cut through foundation into the house, and willing to answer questions I had about pressure regulation, pipe connections, pipe depth. They cleaned everything up nicely, grading the soil after covering up their pipe work.

They were on time and very professional. They did a good job, and I was very pleased. I called the plumber's supervisor to tell him he did a great job.

Other than a bit of confusion on getting a call back from the office for scheduling, I was very impressed with everyone from the Pipe Doctor. They were all friendly, very professional and although the problems went from one to another (due to the age and way our house was constructed), they handled them all and got everything working properly. The septic pumping company they suggested did a good job on an old unit. I am pleased with everything and will definitely use them again for any other plumbing issues.

I needed a blockage cleared from the sewer line between my house and the manhole. The blockage spot was 3/4 of way from house. The total length of sewer pipe is approx. 30-32 feet. I needed the pipe blockage cleared, but the most important part was to find out why it blocked and the cost/details required to fix it. It had blocked in that same spot 2 months prior and that blockage was flushed out (no charge) using my water hose. It could have been done again free (instead of hiring them), but I needed to find out what was causing it. I gave them all this information.
I called on Friday and was quoted $150 to and quot;camera itand quot; and $200 to and quot;clean it out and camera itand quot;. I was not given a cost for cleaning only, and did not ask because that is not what I needed. Tim was to come around 2 pm. Michael called and said he was closer and Tim was busy so he came. He was very nice and after I showed him the layout and where the blockage was I told him that it had to have a problem and I was anxious to find out what it was and what it would take to correct it. We guessed that it might be roots. He cleared it quickly/easily and there was no sign of roots. He said there might be a dip or break in the pipe causing it to block. I asked him about the camera and he said he didn't have one , but that Tim did and he would come later and see what the problem was. He said it was $150. He didn't seem to think it would cost more when Tim came (a mis-communication?) He said I could pay him or wait and pay Tim. My mistake - I should have waited and paid Tim. At end of day I called the office because Tim never came or called. I told Wes, Tim never came and used camera and asked about the price again. He sounded very irritated and told me he gave me the prices that morning. I told him I was a senior citizen and wasn't offered the discount when I paid - that I felt so bad (obvious by my voice I was sick) that I didn't think to ask for it. He didn't seem to think I would get it, but said he would check with the owner (they show a 10% senior discount on their Angie's listing). He said he would have Tim call me Monday. I asked if Tim would know about the discount then and he hesitated, then said yes. I did not hear from Tim Monday, so I called at end of the day and had to leave a voice mail message for Wes to call me. I have never been called. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford to wait until it blocks again and pay another $150 and then the $50 (w/no discount) to find out what's wrong and then pay to fix it. After leaving more messages at decent intervals - he was never available and never returned my calls - I left a voice mail that I still needed the camera done and if I didn't hear back soon I would go ahead and put my review on Angie's list - so here it is.

After posting this review the company came out and fixed all necessary problems at no additional fees and they didnt charge me the additional fee that we had agreed to. I agreed to amend my review because they did come back to fix all issues. They also stated the reason for lack of contact was the office personal was out of town. Tim came out and did the camera work. He was very nice, helpful and professional. he helped me transfer the camera video to my computer at no additional cost.

They were good and I rate them highly. They were quick to respond and pleasant to work with.

I wasn’t crazy about him and I will not use him again.  The pricing was a little bit high.  One of the reasons we had gone to Angie’s list was because my husband wanted to find a plumber.  That is why he subscribed to Angie’s list and the name he gave me was someone I did call, but they didn’t come out and give me an estimate.  They gave me an estimate over the phone which I was a little hesitant about because you never know what they give you on the phone is going to be when they get here.  These guys came and gave me an estimate beforehand.  There were some problems with the plumbing when we bought the house so they came out and did it and they did a good job.  So that is why I decided to go back with them again because they had been in the house beforehand, but I wasn’t very thrilled with them and I said I wouldn’t use them again.  They were okay, but they really didn’t do a good job.  There are a lot of things that they just weren’t.  The water heater is working fine, everything is okay, it is just that work was a little short.  They were having trouble.  It was on a Friday afternoon and one of the guys said he told his wife he would be home and he just walked out and left here.  There was only one guy here and it took him forever and I felt like he rushed the job because he wanted to get home.  Their price was a lot higher than what I had got.  When I talked to the other person that was on Angie’s list he was a thousand dollars cheaper.  My husband was not pleased with the work he said they could have done a lot better.  Some of the stuff like the word hot is upside down.  That is just professionalism, he said if they took pride in their work they would have made sure that hot was the right side up.  They were quick.  They did come out the following day after I called because the water heater was leaking.  They said they could come that afternoon and fix it.  That is the only reason I went with them because I wanted it fixed ASAP.

They were very good. The first time they came out was an emergency and they responded very quickly. Both times they came out they did good work.

The Pipe Doctor has some very nice and reliable workers that come out in uniform and ready to work. I remember one incident when a few pop ups had come lose and they came that same day to fix it for me. They are really great. I love the service and the price as well. No problems at all hiring them again in the future.
