Tennessee Skyline Glass Inc

I was very happy with their work. Their estimate and charge was about $500 less than another estimate I got. I liked their price and the two men who came up. I also liked that they called and they came when they said they were going to come. Everything about it was a pretty good experience.

TSG was professional, prompt, and had better pricing than other glass companies I called. I think there was a very brief delay on installation of the glass because TSG was involved in a major project at UT. No problem for me, since the glass wasn't broken, I just needed a reasonable turn-around, not immediate. I had removed much of the old trim prior to TSG arriving since the old trim on the exterior was rotted and I had new pvc trim custom made by another company to replace the rotten stuff. TSG professionally removed the old glass and install the new using my new exterior trim and re-using the interior trim. Their work was good but had a problem: the glass had two problems. First, the metal frame in between the two panes of glass wasn't square with the outside of the glass, so when it was installed about 8" of the frame extended beyond the part of the glass covered by the interior trim. Also, apparently the thickness of the glass sandwich assembly wasn't the same all the way around. A different corner was a little thicker than others, thus when the glass was sandwiched between the interior and exterior trim in the door frame, in that one corner the trim didn't install totally flush with the door. Both of these problems were from the glass manufacturer not TSG. I could have rejected the glass, and most of the time I would have. TSG said they would reorder replacement glass but I chose not to delay any further and accept it as it was. I would definitely use TSG again.

Ordered the glass on late Friday afternoon the 6th of May - It is now the 11th - they said it might take a week to get the order - considering how busy they were. Will update when I hear from them
