Day one - Arrived on time and removed old driveway. Day two - Crew arrived early and new driveway was poured. 4" deep with rebar (8" deep on approaches). Returned on day three to prepare for border. Returned on day four to acid wash and paint border.
We thought the job went well and are pleased with the results. I could have saved $2200 by going with the lowest bidder, but chose Salazar based upon the strength of a neighbor's recommendation who had used him last year to replace a driveway 3X our size. Al seemed fairly firm on his bid and I did not try to negotate a better price.
Bottom line, we are very satisfied with the work that was done. Al Salazar answered all of our questions, and was on-site during days one and two. His team of four went about their work with diligence.
I was concerned about two sprinkler system leaks. Al repaired them although one sprinkler head was either left off or was not properly re-installed when the system was flushed. I will replace it.
