INTEGRITY SHEET METAL

I called Integrity, trying to help out a local company, to have them look at my furnace. It was still working but making noise, and we were having a 75 degree week so there was no hurry. They looked at it while someone was at the house and said they would be in touch. I was assuming with an estimate. That night I got a call saying there was no one at the house so that her husband had let himself in and was working on the furnace. I said "really, I was told someone would get in touch with me?" I was next door so was there in 5 minutes and he was finishing up already so I asked how much it would be. "oh that's the wifes department". I turn to her, "Oh I have to figure it up..." 2 days later I get a bill for $550! For 3 1/2 hours of labor and a $288 dollar blower. There is no way he spent 3 1/2 hours on it. Plus I never authorized them to enter the house, let alone do any work. When I called she said the labor was for "looking for the right part". Well I'm not paying $68/hr for him to shop! I called back and said just come and take the thing out. Then was told I'd be charged for the labor! So I'm like, "how about I charge you for trespassing? And vandalism and theft?". It is still not resolved. Action Mechanical quoted $60/hr, $130-200 for the blower, probably and hour labor. If Integrity would have even bothered discussing a quote I would have easily said no, that's why companys give quotes. Integrity claimed that when a person calls to look at there furnace, to them that's a go ahead to do whatever they want. Apparently trespassing included. Further phone calls trying to resolve the issue have resulted in snide and sarcastic comments toward my family and threats to sue me. I was never given any paperwork with the new motor or the option of keeping the old one.
