Straight Line Construction (Jimmy Reid and Nick Wittsoth) were hired to do a number of remodeling projects on a property including kitchen and bath remodeling and a few other projects here and there. I entered into a contract with them with the understanding that they would be doing the work personally. They ended up hiring out the work to other subcontractors, one of which screwed up everything he worked on. (When I confronted them about the subcontractors, they told me these people worked for them.) Although Jimmy told me they would get everything fixed "on their dime," they stopped returning phone calls, text messages and emails months ago. Jimmy and Nick also would forget to tell their subcontractors the specifics that I told them so projects were done poorly due to their oversight (or lack thereof). They did not manage their "employees" or "subs" well. The entire project was a disaster, cost me thousands upon thousands and is still costing me thousands as I move into litigation.
