I went through a lot of people before I decided on them. They were so easy to work with. They did a great job. They let us know about rebates to say us money at different places like the electric company.

The service man called and wanted to come earlier than the appointment so my husband went to meet him and let him in the house. My husband stayed with him while he did the cleaning and was not impressed with the little sweeping and vacuuming did. He took nothing apart to clean and did not check the thermal coupler like other HVAC companies have done in the past. He did however check the carbon monoxide when he was finished but only in the house and in the plenum (top of the furnace) and came up with a reading of 6 ppm. He then shut down the furnace turned off the gas to it and said that the furnace was shot, no good. But his company could be there in the morning to install a new one for $2,200 to $2,400 and said to call the office and set it up. My husband was so shocked after the job he just witnessed and what he was told he just said good by and called me. I did some research on line and called the local fire department, gas company and a City building inspector and concluded that the CO numbers did not warrant shutting it down. We restarted the furnace and called another HVAC Co. to do the same job again and this Co. was not made aware of Burhenn & Gruenig's conclusion. They did an excellent job of cleaning and checking the CO levels and said that it was working great and CO levels were fine. My husband was there for that service and heard all the CO level readings only this time he knew more about them and was impressed with their service work. (See my review of Baete-Forseth.)
This is a home where our grand children live so we took this seriously but no one not even the dog that is inside every day and night was showing any symptoms of CO poisoning and the house gets a new CO detector every three or four years.
Get a second opinion and don't let one vendor fill you with fear and try to freeze you into spending a lot of money on something you don't need.
I have yet to be billed for Burhenn & Gruenig's service.
