Mystique Edge Escape

I absolutely love this place! I've gone to them in the past for manicures, pedicures, facials, and massages. It is a very relaxing atmosphere and their new location is awesome. No more trying to find a parking spot downtown! They are a little bit pricey, but the extra few dollars I spend going to them is worth it in my opinion. I've tried some other places in town for massages and facials, and the service was always hit or miss. When I book an appointment at Mystique Edge, I KNOW I'm going to have a great experience.

Worst haircut ever. The stylist didn't listen.

The experience was pretty good but I expected more from a spa. Upon returning home I noticed that the polish on my toes was not done well. I appears the second coat doesn't go all the way to the cuticle - so there is a line from the first coat to the second. I just feel that for a pedicure with this kind of service fee that it should have been next to perfect.

I have been to this spa a few times and have always been very happy. I have had their mud wrap as well and that was fantastic. The only negative is the very limited parking around the spa.

Stylist did not listen to me about where I part my hair. Now it looks like I have a bowl cut sitting on top of longer hair instead of nice layers. All layers are the same length and this looks bad on real thick hair.

The gal cutting my hair was very friendly.

I got a couple's massage for my husband and I for our anniversary. The prices are too high, but the massage was overall a good experience. If the prices were cheaper, I would go there more often, but for now I would definitely go there for a splurge and special occasion.

I got a gift certificate to the Spa for my birthday. I called over a month in advance to make sure they could fit all of my services into one day, which they said they could. I had gotten my hair cut there before and was somewhat satisfied with the cut, but when I went in this time I waited almost 30 minutes for the girl to get to me, then she washed, cut and styled my hair in under 30 minutes! I can't even do my hair that fast! I am all about not wasting my time, but I would have liked a little more precision in cutting hair, especially for my short do. I got home later and realized that a full CHUNK had been taken out of the left side of my hair, so I vowed never to get my hair cut there again.

I also had a gift certificate to the spa for a manicure, pedicure and facial. The facial was good, but I had to wait almost 45 minutes to start my pedicure, and she put the wrong kind of polish on my feet, then didn't have the paraffin dip ready for the pedicure because the girl forgot to turn it on. I was NOT happy with the shellac nail polish she put on because it was bubbled and looked ugly. It also came off quicker than it should have because it was so bubbled. I will never go back there again. They make you feel like just a number and their services are below par for what I was paying for.
