 + -1 moreWe wanted ideas and ballpark costs. We took in what we wanted for a house. We would have to come back and talk to someone else. The person that does design plans was out for the day. We would have to purchase House plans before we can know the cost. That's scary to spend $400 to $700 to find out that what the cost to build it would be. We went to the next building place and they went out of their way to give us ideas, and ballpark prices. Funny the 2nd place was also the place our Contractor recommended. We had to see for ourselves. I feel hopeful now that I can build the house I want. I do realize I may have to not have some of the bells and whistles I originally wanted. But then it isn't built yet.
Description of Work: We went in to get information on Where to start with Building a new House. Why do they have to be vague? I understand that it depends on what you add to the house plan. You have to purchase a plan then get a cost estimate prior to knowing what a house will cost. Really? No Ballpark ideas from past customers? I think they should have a few flyers of what was built around the city in the last 6 months. At least people in my shoes can get an idea. They had house packages for sale in their sale add, but no prices. What's up with that? I'm a person that if I can't get a idea of the price then it must mean it isn't for me. I walk away.

Description of Work: I would not recommend Knects for a kitchn remodel. They missed major details in what I wanted done and then suggested it was my fault insinuating I didn't tell them these vital details. A project that should have taken 6 weeks tops took 14 weeks because of inefficiencies and absurd policies. For instance, I had to wait 6 weeks to get a panal for the back of my island. This panal is made across the state, but Knechts saves money by only shipping every 6 weeks, leaving the customer to suffer as their house is torn up. The installers were sensational. The problem is with the measuring/ordering people.
