PLEASE READ! Recently I took my 2001 f350 to bargain barn to have struts put on the front, and all new rotors, pads, and calipers. After paying two grand for the service I checked everything out before I left. They hadn't even put the struts on my truck ($300 worth of parts that I paid for) which wasn't a big deal but kind of discouraging. I told them about it, and they put them on. So I drove home. The next morning I took it for a long test drive. Once I got home my left rear caliper was smoking! I called the manager Greg and calmly told him what was going on. He said that I needed to bring it in right away. On my way back I was going 35 down Sheridan lake road turning onto Jackson and completely lost steering, almost crashing my 12,000lb truck into another vehicle. The vehicle noticed and slammed on their brakes and I ended up in creekside's lawn over the curb. I inspected it. Bargain barn forgot to put cotter pins in the castle nuts on my tie rods so it came out when steering hard causing me to have zero control over the vehicle. I calmly called Greg and told him what was going on. Tow pros towed my truck to bargain barn. They said they would fix it and apologized. If I had been on the highway I might not be writing this message today. After getting my truck back from bargain barn for the third time I noticed right away that the truck was pulling to the right when braking (not to mention that someone had taken my keys, unlocked my toolboxes and rifles through my expensive belongings) so I took it back again. They had to replace both front calipers and do an alignment on my truck. I talked to the owner, Jim Wies about this. And he said "well we got it fixed didn't we?" Well yea Jim, the SIXTH time is the charm right? Not to mention I could have killed myself because of your mechanic. I encourage anyone to call me (including you Jim) at 605-415-3026. Thank you. My name is Travis.

For starters the appointment for my truck was at noon, but when I drove by at a quarter to one it was still where we left it. I didn't here back from them until four thirty. The man I spoke to was not professional at all, and spoke down to me like I didn't know what I was talking about. He refused to address the issues I had taken the vehicle in for. He tried telling me that I needed a new transmission and he would call one of his and quot;buddiesand quot; and get the stuff I need. I immediately took my vehicle elsewhere.

I needed my tires aligned on my Durango because of it was shaking when I drove. They did a awesome job and the alignment definitely made my drive a lot smother.
