Auto Hail Center

They are a mobile hail repair shop.  Meaning they set up a tent in the back of Ramkota hotel, and complete the repairs from there.  They specialize in paintless repair.  My insurance company gave me an estimate of $4,700.00 for all the hail damage on my car to be repaired.  They included costs, for a new hood, new roof, and included paint costs and paint labor etc.  I went to this particular shop because the estimate he gave me was $3,500.00 to $4,500.00 which is less than my estimate was.  This shop also "pays" your deductible for you.  In addition, I was offered $250.00 or an ipad mini upfront for choosing to go with them.  He also said they massage out the dents, and that is better than replacing the parts because the parts are more than likely low quality.  All around win is what I assumed.  They also said the turnaround time was within a day. It was over a week before I got my car back. In addition the sent an additional payment request from my insurance company requesting an additional $1,300.00 for repairs.  Now I have to have a damage report on my car showing that my car was repaired for more than $5000.00 which drops the value of my car.  There was not a lot of damage done to my car initially, and now if I ever want to trade in my car I'll be screwed.  If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is; lesson learned.
