They diagnosed the car for free and it ended up being simply a bad spark plug. I usually do my own maintenance on my vehicles although the plugs in a 1998 Monte Carlo are a pain to change with the rear 3 being almost impossible to change. So without any bloody knuckles on my part and a small fee I was good to go.
