We had it fixed but are unsure if that was the actual problem or if a different plumber could have fixed the problem with out all the expense.

Olson Plumbing is our first call when plumbing is a problem and in this case a leaking shutoff valve plus a handle with a broken set scew needed addressed. We called in the afternoon and the next morning a plumber was here. He had no problem replacing the shutoff valve and, as long as he was here, replacing the other valve, using better valves that will last longer. He also had parts for the control handle and surround, thus saving us from having to buy the entire assembly. He accomplished this in an hour.
We've come to expect excellent service from Olson and although their cost of service may not be the lowest in town we think the speed of service more than offsets their cost per hour - which is competitive.
