"We agree that there were issues; some within our control, some out of our control, however, ultimately we are held Accountable. We have learned a great deal from that entire experience and have made many changes to our system and protocols since this occurred over 8 months ago. All companies will have failures as we are constantly learning and getting better-Unfortunately, it came at a great cost to both parties. We sincerely offer our apologies and will continue to make every effort to make sure it won’t happen again. This project involved decades old solid cedar siding that had multiple layers of previous paints and stains. We grossly underestimated the difficulty of removing old paints, which caused variations in the siding and landscaping issues. Although these possible issues were discussed prior to the project, (restoration of older cedar will never be like new.) Better efforts should have been taken to explain the final product as its restoration not replacement. There was also a communication issue as to the extent of work quoted to client prior to signing a contract, as multiple changes to the original scope of work were made, drastically altering the difficulty and amount of work to be done. It’s our responsibility, not the clients, to make adjustments to both the contract and what expectations such changes will make. We failed to discuss in depth the exact details, therefore we failed in the execution. New screens were provided and mulch supplied to rectify issues that occurred during the process as a byproduct of water and strippers. It was at our suggestion and cost to replace these items with no requests from the clients. Additional offers were made to replace or repair areas of grass, and declined by homeowner as it was October and he would take care of it. There was also an additional balance that was waived to compensate for imperfections and time it took to complete the project. We agree this experience didn’t end the way we would have hoped. It’s never our goal to upset clients or provide poor service. We sincerely apologize for the inability to properly communicate all concerns or meet all the expectations we’d all hoped for. We acknowledge imperfections and unsatisfactory areas and we will still offer to rectify to the best of our ability. We agree to the frustrations caused and we continue to apologize for all those events. We’ve received many compliments and additional contracted clients from area homeowners that have seen the completed project and were impressed with how it looked."
"Thank you for the opportunity. We look forward to seeing you again soon."
"Thank you for contacting Restoration RX through Angie’s list. We always make every effort to respond in a timely manner to each and every inquiry for services we provide. As a general contractor, we use specialty sub contractors. Your request was given to one of our specialty gutter teams for measurements to ensure we’d get exact material quotes from the team that would complete the job. They responded that they couldn’t find the house. After a second response from you with the address, it was again given to a gutter team. We accept full responsibility as you contacted us for a quote. It’s never in our companies interest to upset or offend any potential client. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and any stress this may have caused. My sincere apologies. Trepp"
