About us
Larson Manufacturing was founded with a strong commitment to quality, integrity, and service. These principles are the foundation of our company and living these core values is as essential to our success today as it was in the beginning. More than 60 years ago, Oscar Larson founded our company through his entrepreneurial mindset and desire to produce a better product. Family owned Larson Manufacturing has grown from a one-man shop into the largest manufacturer of storm doors and storm windows in the United States. Over our 60 years in business, we’ve worked hard to become the leading innovator in the industry. With over 20 patents and more new innovations every year, you can expect LARSON to deliver. As our company continues to grow, our people grow with it. Through our values-based culture, we create, inspire, drive, and share a stronger future every day. We enrich communities, foster careers, and improve products by putting people first in everything we do. At LARSON, we put people first. We’re devoted to our employees and their families, our customers, and our communities. Our factories and our Customer Care call center are and have always been, based in America. exterior. After waiting 3 weeks, the door sent is fully 5/8 - 3/4" too narrow for my opening. When installed, per instructions, the latch side of the door does not even reach the latch frame. It took me five days to even get through to "customer service" as they don't answer their phone and you can't leave a message or hold. And they have no contact info on their website. I finally received a response to their email form and was given a number to call. When I called the service rep indicated that if I had measured correctly the door would fit and it was my problem. I offered to send a pic of the door frame with measurement or to work with a Larson rep if one wanted to come out but was told rudely and flatly that no response would be forthcoming from Larson; the door I received fit the Larson specs for a 30" opening; and if it didn't fit there was something wrong with my measurement. The implication was that I was either an idiot that couldn't read a tape or a liar. She suggested I fir out my door frame the 3/4'' necessary to make the door fit. I tried to explain that the doorway is too narrow and any loss of width would make it nonfunctional but she was totally uninterested in any problem I was having or working with me to find a solution.
This is second problem I have had with Larson service. Last year, the window on another Larson storm door was broken and it took 3 months to get a new window. At the time, I thought that was an anomaly, but now expect that extraordinarily poor customer service is the norm.
