From start to finish, this was a fantastic experience.  We had some general ideas about what we wanted in a patio.  John took those ideas, asked questions, added his own input and ideas, and helped us design exactly what we were looking for.  He steered us away from expensive options that wouldn't add much value for us personally (pergola, fireplace, walking path, etc.).  He walked us through all our material options (pavers, stone, brick, etc) and the costs associated with each.  He provided (in short order) a quote that was detailed and professional, along with a 3D design of what he was going to build.
The job started quickly and John was onsite nearly every day to ensure the work was being done as described.  He was easily accessible day and night via text and responded quickly when we had questions.  The job was completed ahead of schedule and the final result was exactly as designed.  I would highly recommend.

John was professional, delivering the exact project we envisioned and he described. His price was competitive, he began and completed when promised, and we are very happy with our new grill station. He worked with us to tweak our proposed design and his ideas made it even better. I definitely recommend Southern Greenscapes.

John came to our house and listened to our thoughts for over an hour. He came back a couple weeks later with a complete drawing of our plans and a quote to do the work. We had minor revisions, but pretty much hit the mark. His team was great and did a very high quality job.

John came for an estimate and design discussion. We had ideas but his were MUCH better and really encompassed what we wanted. He returned with a wonderful design and started work in about 2 weeks after we got homeowner association approval. Our stone fireplace is one of a kind with unique style, stonework and mantel. It is the focal point of our backyard room. He matched the stone on our home. The wall curves on both sides for several feet with stairs leading to the higher level. The patio is matching stone placed on top of a solid concrete base to last a long time. We had a built in grill and he added and matched the stonework to include outdoor burners. The landscaping is beautiful with sod and many plantings. John kept us totally informed as to the progress and what we could expect. We could not be more pleased and would highly recommend. This total project was a 10 out of 10.

John is a great guy to work with. He is very knowledgeable about all of the work and this was a major project that took several weeks to complete. He is professional, punctual and he handles hiring and paying all of the subcontractors, who also were very punctual, professional and nice. My husband and I had a vague idea of what we wanted our yard to look like, and John took these ideas and created a masterpiece.

They did an excellent job. It took a little longer then planned but that was due to weather. Other than that everything went as scheduled. When he came to give the estimate he was very upfront about the price. There were no unexpected costs. They were very professional and friendly.

The design was done keeping in mind what the end product would look like after growth has taken place, which I thought was very important. Honesty and integrity is extremely high. John Bell is the owner and did the design but wasn't comfortable doing the hardscape work. I definitely appreciated his honesty and he consulted with the hardscape company so the project turned out like the vision he initiated. We have already recommended him to family and friends and will continue to do so.
