We used Bishop plumbing because our regular plumber was booked, and we wanted our new faucets installed in our bathrooms as soon as we could.  What a mistake.  Mr. Bishop was really nice when I talked to him on the phone, and we talked several times about what he needed to do the job.  I had a quote by the counter people of 300$, which I thought was high, but we ended up paying an obscene amount to Bishop.  On the phone, Bishop told me that I would be very happy and that they charged 90$ per hour. We ended up paying 490$ for a simple instillation of 4 faucets (no change in pipes or anything like that).  He recommended replacing the plastic drains that come with the new faucets with metal ones which sounded reasonable.  We talked about what was needed to finish the job, so they should have known what to come with.  They were not prepared when they came to work, which is why the plumber left to get parts twice.  He blamed this on incomplete kits, but it is their job to arrive prepared.
The plumber arrived at 10:50.  He left twice to get parts and came back.  He sat in the plumbing van for at least 1 hour of that time with the motor running.  He left our house at 3:00 and we were charged for 4 1/2 hours of work!  He sat in his van for an hour of that time.  When I told Bishop that, he told me that all companies charged travel time and that we had to pay for the 50 minutes of time to get to our house.
IN SHORT, WE PAID 4 1/2 HOURS OF PLUMBING LABOR FOR NO MORE THAN 2 HOURS OF ACTUAL PLUMBING WORK.  AS IF THAT WEREN'T BAD ENOUGH, THE PLUMBER LEFT THE TRASH IN THE HOUSE AND DID NOT EVEN CLEAN UP THE PUTTY ON OUR NEW COUNTER TOPS.
