He looked under the house for possible leaks, checked the pressure switch, checked the tank for waterlogged bladder and determined that tank was low on air and added air. It is now working beautifully. He also took the time to explain the various parts of the well system and showed me how to check periodically for any possible problems, including the steps to take to check for proper air pressure in the tank. He said to feel free to call with any questions I might have and that they would be happy to try to help over the phone if they could.  I was very pleased with the service.

Called on a Friday afternoon, left a message and he called back within an hour. Our well pump was diagnosed with a bad check valve due the pump pressure switch cylcing continuously, and we had no water in the house. Arrived promptly Saturday around 10:00 a.m. He explained what he was going to do and went right to work.  He installed a new check valve, made sure there were no leaks. He was done by 11:00 a.m. 
I should point out that this occurred after our regular plumber came on Friday afternoon, installed a new pressure tank at a cost of $300, then discovered that the pressure tank was not the problem.
We have used Abe's before, and they have always provided us with top-notch service. Very highlly recommended for anyone who needs pump or well service in the Aiken, South Carolina area.
