Went well at the time. found out about 2 weeks alter they did not top up ALL the fluids. They missed the fluid for the clutch. A couple of weeks after the oil change, I started having problems shifting. It got so that it it would hardly change gears. I finally talked to several friends. One of them had a truck like mine before. He told me there was a fluid reservoir for the clutch. When I checked it, it was totally empty. After I filled it, everything was fine.

"Hi [member name removed], I tired to contact you this morning (01/03/2014) regarding your vehicle. With our oil changes we do top off ALL fluids. In your case, the clutch fluid was topped off. However, clutch fluid is not something that burns off (like oil) so that has us thinking that is must be leaking out somewhere. I had my 2000 F-250 serviced at Action Automotive. When I took it in the transmission was slipping from take off. I wasn't totally sure what the issue was.
Action has always been quick to get back in touch with me and always quick to look at my truck.
After looking at the truck it was decided that the transmission would have to be rebuilt or replaced. Rebuilding was a cheaper option (By about $800) but after discussion with the owner, the better option would be to replace the transmission with a remanufactured unit that carried a nationwide warranty (Jasper) for 3 years vice the 1 year the rebuilt would carry.
The service was quick and all the paperwork was in order when I arrived a few days later to pick it up.
I have used Action Automotive since moving to the area for all major service on the truck. They came highly recommended from multiple co-workers.
In an earlier encounter with Action they set up towing with a local company and offered a ride to work for me.
All in all, a little bit more expensive than some other local shops but you truly get what you pay for.
