It was excellent! They were here 15 minutes earlier than I expected them, and I couldn't ask for a better experience.

I called the office and scheduled a free estimate for my HVAC system.I had already obtained another quote from another company with recommendations (at a cost of $6000) that did not sound quite right to me. Estes sent Tim Smith to come and evaluate my system. As soon as he arrived, it was obvious Tim knew what he was doing. He suggested some changes and pointed out why the system was not working as effectively as it could. He spent a good bit of time evaluating every part of the system. He gave me an estimate of $3000 to create zones in my house with two separate thermostats to make my unit more efficient and to better cool and heat the upstairs. Also, he removed two of the ineffective filters upstairs and installed one large filter right at the unit. I felt very comfortable with what he was telling me. I scheduled the repairs to be done. They had to reschedule for an emergency but they gave me plenty of notice for that. They arrived the morning they had rescheduled to, got right to work and got the job completed. They cleaned everything up before they left and organized the materials so that they were not in our way at all while they were here. They checked everything out fully before they left and explained to me what they had done, how it would work and showed me how to use the new thermostats. Tim also told me what to watch for and what I would notice differently with the new set up. Overall, everything was very professionally done. I will definitely use Estes again and would recommend them to others.

Mike went WAY out of his way to help me out when I needed to get my heat pump replaced. He knew that we were coming back from vacation and needed it working as soon as possible and drove over an hour and a half to help me out. I can't say enough about how great of a company this is. They will take care of you when you need it and at a good price.

Our heater's AUX heat was not working. They replaced the strips. Now the only thing that works is the AUX heat. Our cooling wasn't working. They charged the system, and it all leaked out. They said we had a leak in one place, and they fixed that, charged the system, and it all leaked out. Then it was another place. Then we had to replace the whole coil. They charged the system, and now our AC doesn't work either. And then several months after we paid, they called and wanted to charge us even more - said that they had forgotten to bill us for something. Not using these guys again.

This company did an excellent job. They are responsive and the quality of their performance was outstanding. The technician was very knowledgeable. The job was performed during an incredibly cold couple of days and they went out of their way to get the heat back on right away. I gave them an "A" in almost all categories.
The price they quoted was "good," however, I did have a lower estimate from a company that couldn't be as responsive. Also, Estes charged a mark-up over their estimate without informing me b/c they were out of stock on a part and put in a temporary fix to get the heat on quickly with a return trip after getting the part. Had they informed me, I could have avoided the temporary situation since there are 3 heaters in the house. However, after discussing with them, not only did they resolve the price dispute, they won me over as a permanent customer.
They are a quality company and they care about their customers. I would highly recommend.

They were very thorough and I appreciated how the mechanic communicated with me in detail about the condition fo the air conditioner and his suggestions for me.

The Technician showed up on time and was polite, professional and respectful of my property. The technician took adequate time to access the problem and suggest what to do to correct the problem. No leak was detected so we agreed the best thing to do was to charge the system and trend its performance. The system has ran from the time it was serviced to present (approx. 22 months) with no problems.

We called Estes for the first time when our furnace suddenly stopped working. The technician came out when he said he would and worked on the unit. It was actually a multiple problem (probably one thing broke and that caused other problems).

Due to this, the furnace took longer than usual to repair. The Estes technician was diligent and professional through the whole thing. From the initial call to the office through the billing, every person we dealt with within this company was professional and courteous.

Mitsubishi Mr. Slim mini-split heat pump was running but not cooling or heating. Called Estes Mechanical Monday morning at 11:15 and a service technician was at my house less than an hour later. 30 minutes later the unit was working again. Outstanding! Very prompt and professional. Will use this contractor again.

Our A/C stopped working suddenly. We called Estes after checking the fuses and breakers. They gave me a time and arrived at that time. He also called on his way. The serviceman quickly found the problem... ants!!! Ants were invading the HVAC unit outside getting between the connector. Something about them being drawn to electricity and blocking the voltage (so could not come on). He cleaned them out, and it was working again!

On a Sunday afternoon we called Michael Estes about a leaking A/C unit. We asked him to come Monday morning, but I think he would have come on Sunday if we asked him. On Monday morning, he finds that the drain was stopped up. He cleaned out the drain and installed an EZ trap so that it would not happen again. He checked the unit out to make sure OK. He found everything in working order and 4-10-A levels good. Very satisfied with service he provided and will have him back for preventative work in the fall.
