this company is awful. We have made multiple trips to SC to check on this home, and had many issues. We had to call the HVAC guy, the plumber (water heater wasn't hooked up correctly), water company/New Start to install the water meter box and backfill it, electrician had to come out to repair a faulty wiring in the switch, and someone else came to wire the pump in the septic tank and complete that. Then we have a huge dead oak tree in the front yard the tree company documented was from the construction, a misfitting granite breakfast bar, wood trim that looks like it was cut with a hacksaw and other trim wood puttied, a light fixture offcenter, a bowed foyer wall, etc. We sent the company an email punch list as directed by out attorney. The real estate agent responded four weeks later with what they would and would not address. The work was to be completed by November 1, our move in date, but is has not happened. I have spoken to our neighbors, and they too have issues including unfixed water damage, and upgrades not completed. When you contact the company or their real estate agent, you don't get a response. I did once get a response when their workers were "borrowing" our water and I threatened to call the police. I feel if I paid the asking price and closed in their 4-5 week timeline, the least they can do is repair the issues to the home. I do have photos should there be a question about my truthfulness.
Description of Work: they built a home that we purchased after it was built. We noted very poor workmanship in the home and a huge dead tree in the front yard. Our real estate agent tried to work with their Weichert agent, Russell Jones and the builder, Brantley Pope for 2 months, without success. We contacted a lawyer (we are in NJ) and sent the punch list email to all, as directed by our lawyer. Although Mr. Jones returned our email 4 weeks later, and stated the issues would be addressed by November 1, 2016 as we requested, we moved in November 2, and nothing has been touched.
