Lynne promptly diagnosed problem with unit and replaced condenser fan. Heating unit wouldn't stay lit couple of days after work so they quickly followed up and adjusted fan to fix the problem.

Excellent! Our bathroom is simply cold in the mornings, and I was afraid the only recourse would be to install a supplemental heater. Technician took a look around, and found that the vent cover we were using was somewhat blocking the hot air return. We replaced that and it did the trick!

Made appointment for regular service call prior to warm weather season. Technician arrived about 20 minutes late and quickly ran checks, cleaned fan compartment, and replaced filter. Person seemed knowlegeable about unit so I'd probably use them again.

Very well. Could not have expected any quicker service! I was leaving to go out of town the next day and was so relieved they could come out and fix my problem that quickly.

UPDATE March 2104: Kept Lynn Air under contract to do semi-annual servicing of both units, which costs us over $200 annually. Reduction in rating reflects recent experience with this contract. --Yesterday, a new guy under training and his supposedly experienced trainer showed up to service our units and did nothing but look at the them and rinse them down. They didn't even change the large filter on the gas pack, and they certainly didn't check coolant pressures, as they are required to do by the contract, After I called to complain, the owner showed up later in the day to go over units again, this time checking the pressure on the gas pack only, but brought the wrong sized filter. Said he'd be by today with the right one, but I've waited all morning for him to show up and he hasn't. It saddens me to see them fail so miserably in fulfilling their maintenance contract. Too bad Jimmy Little left the company, because such shenanigans would have never occurred under his watch. That said, they did do an excellent job installing the new units at a very fair price two and a half years ago.
October 2011: Jimmy Little, the company's customer service rep, suggested a separate heat pump for upstairs and along with new ductwork. He's an old school type, just need one inspection of the house to make his recommendation without the need for a high tech analysis. He suggest two Trane units; the system downstairs was reduced in size from 4 T to 3, with 1.5 T unit upstairs. They replaced all the ductwork, upstairs and down, and installed the new gas pack and new unit upstairs in two days. They were professional, timely, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. All for a price that was less than the competitors.
And it turned out that the air chase leading from the first to second floor was so contorted that a zoned system with one air handler would have never worked properly. A separate air handler/heat pump was necessary in order to adequately condition the air upstairs, something Jimmy told us from the get go.
Six months later Jimmy came back to change the downstairs filter and make some minor tweaks to the upstairs air handler to get better flow into the warmest room (which he had initially suggested doing after we had lived with it for a few months). The systems have performed beautifully throughout the winter, and now as the summer heats up, we are comfortable and happy with them. The Trane compressors are quiet and efficient. And we are particularly happy with the fact haven't had anywhere near the $300 monthly utility bills we were getting before the units were installed. Lynn Air has earned our trust and respect, and our highest recommendation.

Our heat went out on the coldest night of winter. I called Lynn Hand A at around 8 AM and by 10 someone had come out, looked at the furnace, given me a temporary fix and told me we needed a new furnace. (We knew from home inspection that it was not going to last long so I didn't feel like we were being rushed.) He gave me a quote for a new furnace and installation and said they could have it done that day. By 4 pm we had a new furnace at the price quoted. They left the area as neat or neater than what they found. Replacing a furnace in Jan. is not fun, but it was far less stressful than I imagined it would be.

They cared that we had some issues. They came back with the most reasonable quote. In fact, they were a lot cheaper than anyone. They seemed to be more willing to help. I just liked how friendly and relatable they were.

I have used them a number of times, and they are very professional and conscientious. They do their work very considerately and impeccably, and they are always very accommodating. They are a good group. Overall, my experience with them has been topnotch. They are the best. I would use them again in the future.

They came out right away. My husband called them before lunch time and he got here right around noon. The service was very professional. He was here a little over an hour and he got it up and running. We've already recommended him to people on our street. He told us what he replaced could last 6 months or a year or two. We will call them when it goes out completely.

Tje sa;es re[ (Jack) was very patient with us as we changed the order several times. He was very knowledgable about the unit and the installation. The crew that came were punctual, efficient and polite. They completed the job in several days and kept us updated on the progress of the job at all times. They had to add several floor registers and they did thid very neatly. The whole job was done very well and I can highly recommend this company and the crew who did our work. The new unit (Rheem) has worked very well and has cooled our house much more evenly than the old one and it is very quiet. The A/C bill has decreased with the new unit so it should save us money over time and keep us much cooler in the Carolina summer.

I needed to work remotely to replace my Mother's unit which had some corrosion on the heat exchanger. After a routine inspection, I learned she was having an +$8,000 unit installed the next day. I cancelled that and after some pressure selling from another large provider, subscribed to Angies for my Mother and found Lynn. I am an engineer, and while not an expert at furnace replacement, I know what a heat exchanger, tonnage and SEER are, and I was extremely pleased to talk with Jimmy who clearly knows his business, gave me a fair price, and had a new furnace in right away. The job was well done and my Mother was very pleased with how polite they were and how clean the site was when they were done. The even cleaned up some of the neighbor's yard brush in the process. The job was done on time and for the amount they quoted. Very pleasant office staff as well who went out of their way to work with me remotely.

We have a 3 bedroom 2 bath home which is heated and cooled with an outdoor heat pump. The duct work is all under the house in the very limited crawl space. This is a fairly old house and the duct work had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. Lynn came out with a full crew and did the whole job in less than a day. They were very courteous and professional and we are very satisfied with all they did. And they did a very thorough job of cleaning up all debris after they were finished. We will certainly use them for all our future heating and cooling needs.

Very punctual, very knowledgeable, great guys. Explained pros and cons regarding the problems I was having with my unit in detail. Did not hesitate to add several extras at no additional charge. They have worked with me to resolve any concerns. Yes, I would use this company again and yes, I will recommend Lynn Heating and Air Conditioning.
