I am 75, live alone and hard of hearing. I got new hearing aids and heard the water running in tank in toilet in master bath. I called Love plumbing. Matt, the plumber, said it wasn’t that toilet but the one in the guest bath which I didn’t hear at all. He said the whole toilet needed replacing even though the porcelain was not cracked or broken. He then went thru the house and said he recommended upgrades to disposal, water pipes, turn off valves and overwhelmed me. He was careful to say he wasn’t a salesman and it was up to me. I signed for $4682 in unnecessary repairs. I still had the running toilet in my master and she fixed it by adjusting the float. I was a fool to fall for this scam but they were reprehensible to scam an elderly lady living alone
