- As with many owner/operator outfits, scheduling and timing can be a bit of a challenge.  That said, Mr. St Peter was kind and patient with the owner of the house, who is an elderly woman.  He worked to accommodate her schedule,  listened to her concerns, was very apologetic on the occasion when he was late or delayed.  When the owner suffered a fall while he was present on the work site, he assisted in getting her prompt medical attention.  All in all, his manner in working with elderly customers is to be highly commended.
-- The owner of the house is very particular about any work done on the premises, and is a very wary consumer (retired purchasing agent).  She is quite pleased with the quality of the work done, and the negotiated price.

The owner came out for an estimate on building/installing a window seat in breakfast nook, installing tile backsplash in kitchen and fixing some mortar on our outside stone on March 27, 2012.  The estimate came in the mail, requiring 50% prepayment.  After deciding against doing the tile backsplash, we sent a check for $275 which was cashed on April 12, 2012.  Called and emailed several times asking about the timeframe over the next two plus months and each time there were excuses.  The work was finally completed on June 29, 2012.  When they installed the window seat, they scuffed our newly painted walls and didn't bother to caulk under the window sills or put in quarter round on the bottom where it meets the floor.  Very poor workmanship.  He gave some excuse about the floors being uneven when my husband questioned him about the missing molding.  My husband ended up going to Lowes and purchasing and installing the quarter round himself, as well as caulking all of the gaps to make it more "finished" looking.
As for the outside stone, we had some mortar missing in our stone facade and the contractor was supposed to apply mortar to fill it in.  When we went outside to see what he had done, he had just put some silicone caulk in the spots and it was very shoddy and he had the nerve to think that was worth $200!
Overall, not a positive experience.  He was nice enough, but it took entirely too long to complete the work and it looked very unfinished when they left.  Didn't want to call them back out to finish the work properly because I was very unhappy with the quality of their work and I just didn't want them leaving more of an unfinished mess in my house.

Very good service, very nice. If there was a problem they would fix it without question. There going to work on our son's house as well.
