Update:
Mike called me a week after our scheduled appointment and explained the circumstances for missing our scheduled appointment. The unforunate circumstances were a valid reason for missing the appointment, although I think a call should have still been made to cancel. I agree to give Spot Free another chance and Mike came at our rescheduled time. A day or two after coming out for the estimate he emailed me to say that I was not in his service area. He list his service area as Oconee County and portions of Pickens and Anderson counties. I live in Oconee county. I emailed to inquire about this discrepency, yet I never got a reply to my email.
"They did not pay for a thorough house cleaning. They purchased 4 hours of cleaning for $99. As was indicated in their review, it was a move out/move in clean. They were informed I would clean as much as I could in 4 hours. A full move in clean on this house would have been a minimum of $200 ( they were informed they could purchase more time). As for me, saying it was not convenient for me: I asked and was told there would be one weeks notice for me to schedule the job, that did not happen. I did not say it was not convenient, but that I already had the schedule done and did not have anyone to clean it, so I would be working solo. Never saying it was not convenient for me. This review should be retracted because what they purchased was not a thorough house cleaning. It was a 4 hour deal on a 6 to 8 hour job."
I called the company phone number and Idella returned my call that evening. We discussed a date and time for her to come out to my home. This was negotiated quickly to accomodate my schedule and the company schedule.
On the agreed upon date/time, they arrived promptly and quickly assessed our needs/wants and went right to work. They worked as a team of 3 people and even cleaned areas, such as our ceiling fans, which we had not asked for.
This was the best experience with housecleaning I have ever had.
