He was very quiet however seemed very up to date on the appliances. He presented himself well and I didn't mind him using the towels for cleanup but would have preferred a little for warning. I am very disappointed in his lack of communication I feel we are hanging in limbo. We will try to reach him Monday morning early if we don't get a response by noon we will have to call someone else. At this point I just. Need them repaired.

Our dishwasher stopped functioning so we contacted our home warranty company (American Homeshield) to have it repaired. It was assigned to Steve Nance to come out and diagnose the problem. Steve called on a Tuesday afternoon and asked if he could come look at it right away. I told him that I was at work and wouldn't be available until Friday (of the same week), to which he responded that he doesn't schedule that far in advance and I could call back later in the week. I called and left voice messages later in the week, but was unable to get him to call me back. It got to be Friday afternoon and I still could not get in touch with him, so I called American Homeshield and asked for the job to be assigned to another contractor, which they agreed to do. The other contractor came out and diagnosed the problem, but the parts needed to fix it were on backorder. After two months of waiting for the parts, and arguing with American Homeshield, they finally agreed to just buy us a new dishwasher. When the new dishwasher came in, American Homeshield assigned the job to Steve Nance to install. Once again I experienced similar communication problems, he was very difficult to get in touch with. I finally got in contact with him, and set up a day for him to install the dishwasher. I asked what time he would be there, and he said and quot;probablyand quot; around noon. I called back the day before to see if he could give me a more accurate time, and he didn't answer his phone or call me back. I called him multiple times the morning of the day he came out to install the dishwasher, and he finally called back some time after noon, then showed up about an hour later. I understand that it is difficult to give an exact time in that sort of business, but the communication was horrible. When he arrived he was not particularly friendly. When he disconnected the old dishwasher he asked if he could use our towels to clean up the water, which wasn't a big deal, but seemed unprofessional. He installed the dishwasher, and left without cleaning anything up. He grabbed his tools, loaded up the old dishwasher, and left. There was still trash (packing materials from the new dishwasher) all over the kitchen, as well as the wet towels.
Overall bad experience, I would not hire him in the future.
