Porter Floor Sanding

He was wonderful. He was absolutely superb, and he was very reasonable. I’m having him come back. I’m having this renovation done. He’s going to come back and refinish the floors because of the renovation we couldn’t do. I highly recommend him. He’s got a big crew. He was half of what everybody else was. I did get other quotes. He was cheaper and he had knowledge about floors. I probably interview five people, all of them had knowledge about floors. He would say “I’m going to just put one coat on your kitchen we’ll then come back and get that later and I’m not going to charge you for that now.” And he didn’t. And then he said “If you are doing this construction” he was the only one who said this “incurious renovation (which is washing out all the master stuff and rebuilding it),” he said “don’t do it if they are coming in and out or it’s going to... we can get it done later.” So, he was honest. Instead of tearing up the floors again. He came to us and he wasn’t pushy. He was wonderful. He’s coming back to do more. The house that I’m renovating is all hardwood floors. I think he's wonderful.

We had a more unique experience with them than a lot of people have. They definitely did a really good job. I do have one minor complaint, and that's just the fact that the dust was very bad. They cleaned up the dust on the actual floor, as far as dust I got like on the window seals and the molding they didn't add up. It literally took months to finally get rid of it all, because you find it here and there every couple of weeks. But other than that which is probably not a justifiable complaint, it is kind of what happens when you get back on work done. It was a great experience. They did it on time.
