David was wonderful to work with. He was able to squeeze us in pretty quickly, especially considering that it is the start of their busy season. His crew was very professional and very hard working. They came on a Friday and worked 3.5 consecutive ten hour days (except Sunday) until completion. The finished project looks wonderful and we are really enjoying it. His pricing was very competitive and his responsiveness was unmatched by his competitors.

I now have the best looking driveway in all of Greenville County - hands down!

David and his full-time dedicated and experienced crew were completely professional and obviously very experienced in what they do. Viewing them removing the old concrete while using an excavator, a bobcat, and dump truck looked like their moves had been choreographed. They were so fast and efficient and never ran into each other.

This was a good-sized project and took their crew of six 5 full days. They arrived and started working around 7AM and did not stop daily until about 6PM.

David Byrnes, Owner of Hardscapes, Unlimited, drove to Salisbury, North Carolina to meet with me and the owner of Taylor Clay Products and make sure what was being offered would work well for us and he determined the correct amount of material at that time to make sure we did not have too little or too much.

The finished product is beautiful. They did a great job of preparing and compacting the base with proper grading, then gravel, and then sand before installing the pavers. They then filled in the cracks with the polymeric sand which helps lower water absorption and weed growth. They finished by spreading mulch on an adjoining bank, making sure my sprinkler system functioned properly where they had to side up to, and finally doing a great job of clean up.

Our cul-de-sac had to be the place to deposit some gravel and some sand. I made it clear that we did not want any damage to the surface of our road. David communicated this very well to his crew. They placed a worker in the cul-de-sac with a pressure washer, a hose and spent hours making sure it was left in perfect condition before they left.

You will enjoy and respect David Byrnes professionalism.

David Byrnes was one of the best service providers I've ever worked with. The project took one full week. A full crew of 6 to 7 men worked from seven in the morning until dark each day. And excavator, two bobcats, and a large dump truck provided sufficient equipment to handle the job easily. Their movements appeared to have been choreographed they were so efficient. The finished job is beautiful. I've had nothing but raves from neighbors friends and family.

We had an old retaining wall built from railroad ties, which had outlived their useful life. This project was a replacement with a bit of re-design. We went from an angular wall with corners, to a curved wall which follows the shape of the pool.  The re-design was a suggestion made by David Byrnes, the owner, and we are glad he did. It turned out really well, and eliminated a drainage problem we had.

The wall is built from a concrete block system that looks sort of like stone. Check his website for photos.

We have a hilly site, with difficult access, but they made the best of it, while trying to avoid damage to plants, fence, etc., and they did a great job of clean-up afterwards. I liked the crew of men that worked here.

We are quite pleased with the results, and would gladly work with David Byrnes again.
