After three days of "testing" the system by pressurizing the lines, it was clear there was a lack of competence.

1.  Day 1.  Lines were pressurized to the incorrect pressure.

2.  Day 2.  Lines were pressurized to the correct pressure and pressure dropped indicating a leak.  They told us that the drop in pressure was due to the temperature change.

3.  Day 3.  Line was pressurized to correct pressure again and dropped to ZERO.  Now they were going to investigate a leak.  Capped off an area and repressurized to 20 lbs.

City Inspector came and was about to sign off when we showed him the line was capped off.  They (ARS) did not have us on the schedule to follow up after they pressurized the line and continue to investigate a leak.   At that point our project manager  found another company ( see next review)  and when they came, they removed the pressure gauge....it was disconnected and still read 20 lbs of pressure!

We will never let this company near our home again.

They are always efficient.  I have used them in the past.  Very efficient.  Very clean.  They put booties on to protect your home.  They get here as quickly as possible.  No unexpected issues with them.  They are very reliable, trustworthy and polite.

$4,000
My condo sitter, since it was snowing shut off the air handler and then she called me and I called ARS.  They came in and kind of kept the condo from burning down.  I asked the guys how much it would cost to replace the stuff and at that time it was $800 to $900 for the air handler and the compressor were 12 to 14 years old and they did everything.  They were excellent.  When I went down there everything was neat and he did a good job replacing the air handler and did a good job replacing the compressor outside.  I had asked them to put a pad down for the compressor and they did that, I had also asked them to make sure that the size of the compressor is comparable to the condo and they made sure that was correct.  I said that I wanted an air handler that had a standard size filter to go in there because my previous air handler had some off-size filter that I had that time used.  They did that and their job was professional.  I had no problems.
