Description of Work: We were selling our house and had a couple of issues come up with the inspection report. Rick Silvers came recommended to us from our realtor to help evaluate the problems. He came out within a day of being called (despite this being a very busy time for contractors). Since he is a general contractor, he had a broad knowledge of the issues. He pointed out one if the issues the inspector raised was not a problem at all (a footing for a timber support). The others he recommended simple fixes. He said he could do them or else could give me the information I needed to fix the myself (which I chose). Very refreshing to meet a contractor who is honest. He would get my recommendation for any fix-up work needed (at least to satisfy a home inspection which was my issue).

Description of Work: Rick and his crew created a great backyard playground for our grandchildren but that was not their main task. The original deck on our home collapsed and had to be replaced. Rick submitted one of the estimates for our insurance company for removing the debris and rebuilding the deck as it was originally, which we considered to be a fair estimate. Instead we wanted him to replace the 12x12 deck with a 16x24 ft. screened porch. The roof line had to be altered, and we were provided with computer generated models of what the finished product would look like. I cannot say enough good things about these guys.
