David Gerisch started this business as a young adult, directly after high school and has worked intentionally to build a business with integrity and create a trustworthy reputation. We have combined our service and products with our reputation to create relationships with our clients in which they have full confidence and can rest assured their project will be handled with utmost professionalism and craftsmanship. We believe honesty, ethics, gratefulness and being a servant are the core elements and principles for our success. While we have spent the past several years mastering those core elements, we believe without any doubt that absolutely nothing takes the place of, or is more powerful than, hard work. We are certainly passionate about what we do every day and believe in our company, products, services, ourselves, and most importantly, we believe that our customer is better off having purchased from us. Our old deck was in poor condition and did not meet our needs. David met with us several times to discuss options and provide ideas. We are very happy with our newly designed and more functional deck.

Great. The workers were helpful and cleaned up after themselves. The contractor was punctual and finished just as projected. We will definitely use him again when we replace the remaining wooden deck within the next year.

It started when I sat down and called 16 local builders in the Upstate (SC) area for bids on building my wife and I a deck, only 6 returned my calls or answered the phone. Carrie (Owner) was professional and very helpful and took down all our info with the promise to get back to me within a day or so. She responded back on time and had options for us also. I am still waiting on a bid back from contractor #3, and 3 of the other 4 didn't get back to me until the deck was already completed. Once we figured out we were going to use DG Builders I realized it needed to be done within a couple weeks as I was leaving the state for work. David jumped on it and had his crew out and starting within a week. Even with rain and cool 30 degree days David and his crew hit it hard and had the deck completed in a couple days. Very family oriented, professional, honest company and an awesome crew of guys doing fantastic accurate craftsmanship. The deck exceeded all our expectations and I'm glad to say my wife and I enjoyed making a few new friends in the process. The price was right (ended up not being the cheapest but by far the best quality and best customer service I could have asked for), and everything David told me was spot on. I would recommend DG Builders for any of your building needs.

David and his team did a fabulous job on our back porch. Their craftsmanship is amazing. I showed David pictures of several porches that I wanted mine to look like and he combined them and designed it exactly how I wanted. His team of workers were very friendly and answered any of my questions during the process. I will definitely be using them in the future.

David and his wife Carrie were great to work with. The various crews that work for David were excellent and obviously take pride in their work. My wife and I are extremely pleased with how the project turned out. David was very responsive to our needs and helped us make informed decisions before and during the project. We were making changes here and there, all throughout the process, but neither David or his crew hesitated to take care of our needs. For such a large project, we were very pleased at how smoothly things went. Obviously, there are always setbacks and miscommunications, but any issues were minor and quickly resolved. I would not hesitate to hire DG Builders for another project and more than likely, will do just that. Absolutely no regrets in using these folks!

The final work is almost perfect. Couple small things in bathroom that I finished up. Negative was had to argue about a few things getting done right, which they did after I confronted David about it, took an absolute fight at times. Sent guys with no shop vac the first day to clean up mess so they used mine and I had to fight to get my vac replaced. My price went up by $800 that first day. AC trunk got crunched to halfway and as there was no pre or post inspection I had to argue about him taking responsibility, after 3 months of high power bills. it was fixed yesterday but I have to get under there and check it to make sure it was done right. And under my house is full of trash and debris that wasn’t removed when they were done. The work itself was completed over about 2 months. It’s a small bathroom and the only one in the house. But ithe bathroom is gorgeous and the floors are solid.

Wow! What a great company/team to work with. They were in constant contact with us and keeping us up to date on all aspects surrounding our build. We have been wanting to add a screened porch to our house for quite some time and these guys exceeded our expectations. Not only did they work outside in the cold, but they worked through weeks of rain, wind, and snow. They did a beautiful job and I know we will enjoy our new space for many years to come.

David did a great job managing the different crews. The work was done professionally. He and the workers were flexible with my changes. Everything stays in good repair through all the chaos of the different jobs getting done. Would’ve liked it done faster but these jobs have to be coordinated so I was still very happy.

Exceeded expectations. The work was started quickly and the workers maintained a professional relationship when on site. He even provided some scraping of a briar hill which was done quickly and very well. No tracks left on site and I was able to paper and mulch the gound w/o briars growing up later.

David and his team did a great job on the remodel of our existing back deck. Our deck was demo'd and turned into a wonderful screened in porch with awesome concrete patio. The weather was not on our side at the beginning but once the sun came out, David and his team worked hard and made up for lost time! There were many off jobs that came along with the porch (re building a part of our fence, digging drains to help with water run off, leveling the back yard) and everything was great. Truly a multi talented contractor! Carrie in the office is great at following up with ANY concerns and always stays on top of it! This is a great team, and we are more than pleased with the final work!

Original quote versus final job cost varied by +25%. Material costs I can understand but other reasons given not so much. Incorrect material delivery caused a delay in completion but should have been noticed at beginning of job rather than near the end. Quality of construction was excellent. Job knowledge also excellent.

The main construction was good, however we needed them to come back to address some minor problems. We called many times and was told we were "on the list". Well, it has been a year since our last connection and we are still waiting.

Our home had a deck and we loved being outside and enjoying our backyard and the quiet of the neighborhood. We needed to replace it and were torn between another deck or a four seasons room. After weighing the pros and cons, we decided that the four seasons room was our best option. Each of us had ideas about what we wanted so we had a "blueprint" in our minds eye and began the search for a contractor. In June 2017, we found DG Builders through Angie's List and because of his "A" ratings we contacted him about our project and I'm glad we did. Our initial meeting was productive and we immediately liked him, felt comfortable with him and knew he was the right builder for us. We consulted with him several times to create our wish list and to get quotes from him on the specifics of the job and once we were comfortable, we signed the contract. Throughout the process, David always knew what was going on with our project, even if he wasn't by the house for several days. I cannot say enough about the contractors that do some work for David because they were outstanding. Everyone that worked on our room was professional and it is evident from the work they did, that they are craftsmen and enjoy their craft and we are the recipients of their expertise. A brick foundation, concrete floor, custom windows, a beautiful cedar ceiling and the fireplace and make the room feel like a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle, every piece has a place and it fits perfectly. If you're thinking of a project for your home, we highly recommend DG Builders, LLC. We found him to be honest, trustworthy and a man of his word. I have referred DG Builders to several of my friends and will definitely call on David for any future projects.

David and his crew were both great. David had some great ideas to finish off the vision that I was already providing. He made the suggestion you use cedar, which ended up being awesome. He crew also did such a neat job of making the fence follow the slope of the yard well and it looks awesome. I had 4 quotes and David was the cheapest, had the best materials (cedar when other were quoting pine), and could get it done the fastest. It was a no brainer of a choice and I’m glad I made it.

David Gerisch, the owner, came out himself to quote the job. After taking the meaurements he put a quote together right there on the spot and told me verbally and even emailed the quote before he left. Felt the price was fair. His crew was right on time, actually a tad early (believe that is today's construction world!) and had the job done within a few hours. It looks great and definitely adds value to the townhome. David even followed up to make sure we were pleased, and yes we were....in fact, if I need other remodeling / repairing I know who to call.
