We had Altec replace all of our ductwork along with the AC Coil. We paid what we we were quoted and the measured numbers on the efficiency were awesome. Initially we were losing 40-50% and the replacement put us at 4%. Green homes are measured at 10% or less.
What I like about Altec is that the crew is honest and easy to work with. Other HVAC companies used a number of sub-contractors but Altec's crew are employed by Altec. They were able to work around my convoluted schedule and my desire to add spray foam insulation in between the removal and addition of the new duct work.return vents. Other contractors also tried to sell me a bunch of add-ons that I did not need. Altec offered what was needed and was able to demonstrate the benefits of what we were adding to the house.
I would recommend Altec for HVAC work without hesitation.
