The best of the best. Always punctual, most hardworking group of guys I've ever hired. They did the job with precision. Would recommend to anyone, and absolutely hire for any landscaping obstacle.

After hurricane Mathew, I had a number of very large trees down on my property in Timmonsville, SC. Mr. James came out within a week of the storm and provided an estimate. Since the property did not have an existing home, the insurance and FEMA denied my request. Therefore, I had wait until I could pay for everything out of pocket. Mr. James was very patient and understanding. He and his team were very professional. The completed the job start to finish with 4-6. They actually left the property looking better after than it did with the trees on it. I am very pleased and will use them again. They are highly recommended.

This is the second time I hired, James 4 Landscaping and Construction. The first his jobs focused on landscaping outside, this time I asked him to complete a total home demolition for me (inside). This was a project, which I was very nervous about as it was my first time flipping a house on my own. As I expected, Mr. James and his team, were able to complete the job far above my standards. He came out and provided an estimate, he was clear about the start dates. During our conversation, he asked a number of questions to make sure I was very comfortable with the process. He recommended things that I was not thinking about like mold inspection, contacting the City Planning Office and securing the General Contractor before we started the demo process. Following his advice, I completed the inspection and had all the wood treated, contacted the City Planning Office and hired a General Contractor, at which time we all worked together as a team to determine what needed to be moved according to city codes. 

After we all met, at least 3 times (in person and conference call). We finalized the plan and Mr. James and his team completed the project without the violation of any city codes which saved me thousands in the end. 

Throughout this process, Mr. James never increased his price and was very patient. He was very opened and welcomed feedback from all parties. Again, he secured all his permits and completed the job, one day early.

I heard about Mr. James (James4 Landscape and Construction) and his team through a family friend, as they are known in the Timmonsville, Lamar and Florence area as "the best around". When I contacted Mr. James, he provided an estimate within 24 hours. At which time, he scheduled a time to meet with me at the property location in Timmonsville. Being that I live out of town, he had to be really flexible, and he was. At our meeting, he was on time, reviewed the detailed estimate and walked to lot, a number of times. After we walked the lot, he drove me around the community to show me other properties, he and his team completed. I found his prices to be very reasonable, for the required job. He started the job on the day, we agreed on. He also secured his own permits, without my assistance. The job took 3-4 days. At the end of each day, Mr. James sent pictures to show the progress of the work. He and his team, were very professional during all interactions as well as responsive. 

I was so impressed with Mr. James's, I hired him to landscape another property in Florence (which required the removal of a barn) and he landscaped my parents? yard in Lamar that was damaged during the October flood. At my parents? home, he built the yard up with dirt, planted trees, grass and created around about drive way.



Mr. James and his team did an outstanding work for a very reasonable price.
