Started the job myself and physical limitations stopped me. Called Campbells and they worked me right in. Communication could be improved some, but their quality and professionalism cannot be beat! They aren’t the cheapest, but you DO get what you pay for. I’m a hard to please person, because of my knowledge, I would hire them again.

Campbell's was conscientious and did everything they could to keep the cost near the original bid. There was a lot of rotting wood under the previous roof, which hadn't been repaired or replaced in a long time, part of the roof was sagging and needed to be jacked up/reinforced, capped off two chimneys, and removed an attic window that would have caused leakage problems in the future. This ended up being mostly for the cost of materials. They also did all this in only a few days, which we thought was amazing.
They were a few days longer than they said they'd be in getting us an estimate, but other than that they were right on schedule.
The roof looks great now.

Campbell's Roofing is the top roofing company in the Pee Dee. There are a few roofing companies in the area who will rip you off and treat you like a dollar sign rather than a person. Dondie Campbell treats you like a human being and not just someone with a nice insurance check. He's respectful, EXTREMELY honest, will go out of his way to ensure you are taken care of, and finally, will take care of you several years down the road if you have any problems. If you go with anyone else in the Pee Dee, be careful. But with Campbell, you know what you get...honesty, hard work, and integrity.

Recently, We had our roof replaced, and we could not be happier with Campbell Roofing. Don Campbell did a first class job, and his crew was very professional and careful working around our property. We would highly recommend Campbell Roofing. I a big house with a complicated roof. The process was quite involved. He pointed out a couple of things that other roofers had missed.

When we purchased our new home we were having a hard time getting a loan because the roof was actively leaking. Mr. Campbell worked with us and the lender to put up temporary patches and get all of the paperwork done so we could purchase the house. When we finally were able to purchase the house we scheduled the work to be done 2 weeks later. He and his crew were professional when working and got the work done on schedule. He helped to reconfigure the roof to avoid further leaking issures and put all of the shingles in by hand to avoid the nails blowing out. He did an excellent job.

I was very satisfied with the thoroughness of his work. I would definitely hire him if I needed further work or if I need the roof replaced in the future. I understand that Florence had an ice storm in 2000, which was before we moved here and virtually every roof in Florence had to be replaced. A company out of Atlanta did the replacement on our house and the roofing nails were stapled and did not go through the wood, leaving them to loosen, first on the sunny side of the house. He did caution us that we would likely have further loss of shingles in the future due to this method of applying the shingles. We will definitely call him when and if this happens. He was not willing to put his sign in our yard because of the poor job done on the flashing by the roofing company from Atlanta, who were obviously more concerned with speed than quality of workmanship. I would definitely recommend this professional.

The overall experience was satisfactory. They arrived when scheduled and completed the roof in 2 days. We switched from 2 individual vents to a ridge vent (at Dondi's suggestion) and it has made a difference (~$50/month) in our power bill. They also found something that hadn't been done properly when the house was first roofed (this was probably the first replacement since the house was built) and corrected it for stronger roof construction.
