About us
Less Expensive: Traditional concrete companies charge based on their costs to mobilize and pay hourly labor to perform demolition, debris removal, re-form, re-pour, remove forms, and cleanup. In contrast, our procedures have very little labor costs.

"This was an old detached garage built on a slab was obviously not level to begin with. During the lift it became obvious that bringing it to perfect level would have damaged the structure sitting on the slab (the sill plates on two sides of the garage began to bow). Client had us cut the sill to remove pressure which we did but also felt it wise to stop the lift for fear that more serious structural damage may occur - Will McCuen/Owner Slab Science LLC."
The sidewalk was in great condition before Will came. The only issue was that it had dropped several inches, causing a trip hazard and making the step from the stoop to the porch too high. I had contacted other contractors before I found Slab Science, but they either did not return my calls, did not show up or said the entire walk would have to be torn up and replaced, at a cost of $3,400.
I was impressed by the way Will kept me informed and responded quickly to any questions I had prior to having the project completed. He and his co-worker were also very pleasant when I arrived home and even played with my dog!
The sidewalk and stoop look great and are now safe, for a cost the fraction of what it would have been to replace them. I would recommend this company to anyone with a similar issue. I've seldom worked with any contractor who is as responsive, prompt and just plain nice as Will and his employee at Slab Science.
