GUSTO CYCLES

I asked Gusto Cycles (now Bike Street USA) to replace the two shifter cables on my bike. Upon replacing them they told me that the shifter on my main sprocket wasn't shifting well and that the shifter should be replaced. Since I had no problems with the shifter before they replaced the cable I declined replacing the shifter. I took the bike immediately to another bike shop (The Great Escape) for a second opinion. At the Great Escape the technician took one look and told me that the cable had been installed incorrectly and that is why it wasn't shifting properly. He corrected it in 5 minutes at no charge and now it is working just fine.

At first, they just installed the parts and I paid for a tune-up as well The technician, Scott, told me it was ready to go. I got the bike home to find it did not shift well. After a subsequent visit and Neil's help. We determined that another problem, the front chain ring, was causing the bad shifting. Neil researched it and found me a good replacement. Its a shame they let him go.
