AFFORDABLE RENOVATIONS LLC

The renovations went great. This half bath has been a problem for years. The flooring and sub flooring was damaged by a hidden leak from a faulty installation of the toilet. Daniel removed and replaced all damaged flooring, toilet, and vanity. The room is now not only beautiful, but functional - finally! They went the extra mile to make sure everything was properly repaired including all the plumbing, shut off valves, setting in a new vanity and electrical. Very pleased.

Daniel, Max, and Ike are very professional and did great work. They always left everything cleaned up before leaving. I am very happy with the outcome, it gave an older house a new look! All work was completed in a timely manner and they promptly returned calls, texts, etc.

These two work together.  No job really not possible.  They think on the job and solve problems together.  They keep great attitudes and know how to do it correctly the first time.  I have worked with so many contractors with renovating homes and this is about as good as I have seen.  I am a local realtor in the Greenville, SC area and in particular Travelers Rest and if I need something for a client these two are top of the list.  I don't have time for poor work and excuses.

Daniel and Ike have done work for me on and off over the past 7 years.  Rarely do you find contractors who are as thorough, and detailed oriented as these two.  They understand that what you don't see is more important than what you do see.  Meaning, from the studs out, the work is done to the highest standard.  If you have a poor framer, for example, you will have to spend money making up for that sub's shoddy work all the way through.  I have had them do a number of projects were we went down to to studs.  If something was not true and square, they made it so.  This insured level floors, walls, and ceilings.  The end result is that we have a house that is rock solid from the bones out.  They take pride in what they do, they are true craftsman.  

They do A+ work, and the only reason I gave them a B on price is because i know that I could have found cheaper prices.  But I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for, so if you want to be cheap, find someone else.  But that is what you will get, cheap work, that looks cheap, and there is a good chance you will be paying for things to be corrected down the road.  Can you afford to have to do a shower again?  They have done 3 showers in our house, never have we had an issue with standing water, or leaks.  I talk to a lot of friends about bathroom redo's, specifically showers/tubs.  If your sub cuts corners in the waterproofing process, or doesn't pitch the shower floor properly, you will have problems down the road.  Spend the money to do it right the first time.

I would definitely recommend Daniel and Ike to do any job in your house! They are trustworthy, reliable, honest, skilled, careful and meticulous at what they do as contractors.  They do most of the work themselves and are truly talented. They treated my home as if it was their own, by paying attention to details, cleaning up each day and keeping me informed with each day's work.  I would hire them again in an instant and suggest them to anyone who is thinking about remodeling.

It took 3 months to complete, but they were here on time, kept us up to date about what was being done and made sure we were satisfied with what they did before we paid them. They were very professional and cleaned up each day.
