Within 1 year of completion a leak was detected and TCS came out and allegedly repaired the problem stating that shingles did not adhere initially due to being installed in cold weather. Over the next 2 1/2 years leaks occurred in the same location 3 more times and TCS would attempt to come out and repair leaks even alleging that the main house shingles needed replaced although they were only 7 years old and the main portion of the home did not leak prior to the addition being built.
This past July 3rd, 2014 the leaks occurred again worse than they ever have in the past. I contacted TCS and after a 3 day lapse in a response I was basically advised by TCS to find another contractor to repair the roof and in addition they could not operate due to a licensing problem.
I contacted a reputable roofing contractor and was advised that repairs could be made,, they knew exactly what the problem was (which turned out to be incorrect installation from the outset) and could repair the leak once and for all for a modest charge.
As I stated before, there were no leaks prior to the addition being added and if TCS would have constructed the roof correctly the first time or repaired it properly on the first leak I would still be a satisfied customer and would consider using them again. Under the circumstances I've experienced I would strongly urge anyone looking to utilize TCS to learn from the phrase "Caveat Emptor" or Buyer Beware..
