Great company to deal with! My parent’s computer was invaded by a fake Microsoft tech who downloaded all my personal information and began making unauthorized transactions on their credit cards. I jumped into my pick up and headed back to Sumter where I grew up. I was in total panic when I arrived at Computer Upgraders. The shop was very clean, neat and like no other repair shop I have ever been in. The employees were very courteous, friendly and obviously educated in all aspects of computer repair. They were all nicely dressed and wore clean, pressed company shirts which made them easily identifiable. I was already impressed. Most shops in Sumter don’t look this nice. They assured me they see this frequently and said they will remove all of the programs the scammer installed on my parent’s computer and added software protection to prevent them coming back. Additionally, they explained to me what to do to avoid my parent’s identities being compromised by going to their bank and alerting law enforcement. They are open from 9 AM to 9 PM so they were able to get the job done by the end of the day. I was appreciative they could provide same day service but since they are the only shop open past 6 PM, I guess it makes sense. A few days later they called to check with me and make sure everything is alright. I have had my computers repaired dozens of times over the years and no shop ever called me to make sure I was satisfied. They are simply the best computer shop I have ever used, there are no equals! I can now recommend an honest, reputable shop to fix my parent’s computer problems and not be afraid they would be ripped off. That will save me a five-hour ride round trip. Simply put, I will never take my laptop or electronics any other place to be serviced. Take my advice, you won’t be disappointed. They are simply the best.

The entire experience was wonderful! The price was a fantastic deal and the technician had my phone done within 30 minutes! I barely left when they told me my phone was ready. I can't tell when the last time I met such friendly, personable and knowledgable people who cared about me, They even call me back a few days later to check on my phone, just to make sure everything was good! I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

Well we've yet to get our surface fixed, although they've said they were thorough and have contacted us in regards to our surface, that just isn't the case! They are issuing us a refund since they've yet to fix our screen and now they're saying it wasn't the screen that was damamged, which isn't our fault. My one and a half year old dropped the surface and it was never used until we took to them to repair. They don't seem to be concerned about their customers as they had each other's backs when I spoke with them this morning! Saying they spoke with us on Tuesday when our phone records clearly show they didn't speak to us until Wednesday! My advice is seek out another repair shop! I am thankful for the refund, because I really only want my surface fixed, but I regret ever taking our tablet there!!

"I do apologize for the trouble that you had when you chose us to have your repairs done with over other repair stores. We try to keep our customer updated with what is going on during the repair of their items, and again I apologize to you if you felt we did not achieve that. When we received the lcd in and installed it we did call to inform you of the screen having dead pixels in the corner of the lcd, but that you could come pick it up and use it till we got the replacement in which was followed through with. Once we received the replacement in we called to inform you of the arrival and you brought the tablet in the next business day. After the lcd replacement we called to inform you of the touch not working on the tablet, and that we ordered a replacement digitizer and that there were no additional charges added to the original $125 repair that was already paid which included tax and labor charges. When we received the digitizer in we installed it and the touch was still unresponsive so we contacted the vendor and had to order a digitizer control board which wasn't sent with the digitizer. We had to leave a voicemail in regards to the control board since we received no answer when we called both phone numbers that were written on the work order for the tablet when signed in with us. We received a call back from you stating that you wanted you tablet back working in the next 1-2 days or a refund for the repair. I tried to inform you that the control board wouldn't be in for 3-4 days and had already been sent, and you informed me that the tablet was used for you home business and that you couldn't wait any longer then 1-2 days. I told you that I would do the refund for you since I wouldn't have the control board till after 2 days. Your husband did come by that day and picked up the tablet with the New LCD and New Digitizer installed along with a complete $125 refund for the repair. Thank you, General Manager Computer Upgraders LLC"
