Overall satisfied with the job; however, the contractor lacked keeping owner advised on requests for information on materials used for the roofing job, when the job was scheduled to begin or when job was completed. After agreeing on (around beginning of Dec) to allow this company to conduct reroofing job, the contractor indicated he had to request a building permit and let me know when it was received to set a start date for the job. The only feedback received was from my renter indicating that the job would start on 16 Dec than again I was notified 18 Dec again by renter indicated the job new roof had been completed. Instead of replying to owners(my) inquiries, contractor coordinated majority of notification efforts through renter, which in my book was inappropriate, since I entered into this business agreement with this company and not the renter. I understand the contractor may have been busy; however, if the contractor is unable to keep customer informed on events involving contracted operation, they need to relook their priorities.
Even though I was satisfied with the job, I would caution projected clients to thoroughly research the material being used and STAY on top of the contractor to know what is going on, since the contactor lacks the ability to keep the proper individuals informed.
